Tampa Bay Bucs @ Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta will probably win, dunno, paying too much attention to Scotland right now
"it's only been 2 weeks", but if they can't beat Derek Anderson and Austin Davis, then there isn't much hope for them. Lavonte David, Gerald McCoy and Alteraun Verner are propping this team up on matchsticks at the moment
they had an injured player and a ten second run-off ended the game, even though he went down with 12 seconds to go
I can't see that being an easy injury for a penetrating d-tackle to play through
A feeling I can easily relate to
the Bucs staring RB battle is between pretty much my favourite named player, Bobby Rainey (it's just so much fun to say out loud! Bobby! Rainey!) and my favourite-nicknamed player, because who wouldn't want to be called a muscle hamster?
anyway, what a pillock. hope Bobby Rainey wins his job then
Surprising choice for his defence attorney too:
Bobby Rainey inspired Bucs side. Not happening tonight though, with reports coming out that Matthews will play that means he'll fit in at LT, so probably see Carimi shifted over to RT and Holmes can have a well earned night off. Maybe just, maybe #2 will get a few seconds to throw the ball to Julio who's not quite managed at TD despite the opportunities.
Fancy Hester to actually return something tonight after getting a flea in his ear for not even fair catching anything against the Benglas leaving Atl too often having to drive 90+ yds.
I'm almost tempted to pick my team this week, but with the Pats at home to the hapless Raiders that's a free pass to week 3.
TB 21 Atl 34
Pats for me please. Massive home favourites for the win. Willing to bet there's no heroes going for the Jags this week...

to which lead into me tempting fate: COLTS
Various interesting ideas, but what struck me most is that Roger Goodell got paid $44m last year. Now there's a job you wouldn't resign from.
Every single aspect of the game they got wrong. Even their one offensive scoring play should have been disallowed for a blatant push off.
Not watched the game yet but they conceded 54 points ffs. Glad Julio had a big game. Probably the only Falcon I like.
Their defense was not responsible for all of those points conceded either.
Couldn't agree more. There's bad, there's really bad, and there's last night. On the very rare occasion it looked like they'd got a first down, you'd find some meathead had decided it was time to nut someone or flop on someone already on the ground, and they'd be back 15 yards for another 3rd and 25. Over and over again.
Also they didn't have to face Roddy White, could have been even worse for them.
Hester (as i said above) really had a game to remember. That fumble, fumble play was immense too.
Jake Matthews in cincy last week really could have made the difference between 2-1 and 3-0 right now.
really happy for the guy. until that forced fumble I'd forgotten he used to be a corner in college too
Very sad. I remember his 8 FG game really well
Whoever would like to do the honours, can!
