I guess it depends on the quality of the teacher.
not one on one
not one on one AT ALL
big group standard gym class price, £5-6.
mrs budgie reading the boards these days then?
at your local buddhist centre. I usually leave as few quid donation.
for a one on one session it will be around £20-30 per hour.
Groups vary qildly. Bikram/ hot yoga is a comparative rip-off (probably because of the energy needed to heat the place) and you can easilty ay 10-15 for a group class (although you can also get 30 days for 30 quid intro offers sometimes.)
At my gym, the ashtanga yoga class is a £2 supplement (all other non-yoga classes are free).
So the answer is IT DEPENDS.
it's £10 - which seems a bit steep - but its by far the most convenient for me to do (time and location of class) , so i might give it a go
- which is critical since (I'm thinking of pilates here but assume yoga is similar) it's very easy to "cheat" and get any given position slightly wrong making it much easier but also of no benefit - this isn't a terrible price.
no idea what the class size is - i'm a total beginner, will go in a couple of weeks
I'd say a tenner is fair.
