I did this overnight last night. Do I need to change my locks now?
I'd move my entire house.
seriously though, were the keys there this morning? I doubt anyone would have been able or taken the trouble to make a copy over night and if nothing was taken in that time, touch wood, you might have got away with it.
I'm a natural at this. Truly gifted.
Keys still there in the morning sounds to me like you've got away with it. Most opportunist thieves would just try and take some stuff there and then, some would come back later with the original keys and about one in a million would know a locksmith that could make copies overnight.
but who's dappy enough to do that?
about a bunch of other things.
TBH I'm terrible for shit like this so I'm not much of a benchmark.
like eltham pretended to lose his job and pickled owuf shouted at me. marckee needs to apologise.
That goes without saying these days.
Putting my umbrella down is an extra task that my brain can't handle. The result is keys left in door.
My boyfriend's flat got broken into in the early hours of yesterday morning, and they took two consoles, a mac and a car. Both my boyfriend and his housemate were really jumpy and got up about four times each last night cause they thought they'd heard something.
I don't think you should burgle people's houses. It's really bad.
Check out Jane Austin here.
Need a chaperone on your next date?
Who are you talking about?
I know you can turn this around.
it was the execution that was lacking. I blame my typing pool.
Got home really late with 5 bags to carry and it was raining, so I opened the door and stepped inside, then got distracted putting the bags down and taking my shoes off so I just closed the door.
Freaked out in the morning when I couldn't find my keys. When my GF suggested they might be in the door I said 'Don't be ridiculous!' then when I found them I just had to pretend they had fallen under somewhere to save some face.
The first thing that you see when you come into the hall is 4 bikes. Pisses me off no-end. No-one takes it seriously.
Left my door WIDE open all night Saturday. Left it open last friday night when out. Also, left my grandmas front door open all night a few weeks ago and woke up to a pleasant note from our neighbours saying they'd shut it.
Which means I inevitably now will when I get home after work tomorrow. I have left the door unlocked a couple of times after getting home when drunk, though. Managed to get away with that (as in without anything being nicked. My housemate wasn't too impressed, although he's done the same thing now I come to think of it).
