does he get coronated twice? once in London, once in Edinburgh on the stone?
Just imagine that.
is it William? yes that's who I meant, william
No its William isn't it?
that the queen was going to bypass him
so he looks (what they imagine) to be the part
That isn't a thing.
I'm far from an expert on the royals, I was just going by what I'd glimpsed in headlines in newspapers and stuff,
although I don't really think that the name of the next monarch matters that much, they're just there mostly for photos and profiles and reading out speeches that they are given. No what I was wondering is if there would have to be two coronations, seeing as it would maybe be a bit weird to send the stone of scone to Westminster, to do a coronation, If Scotland did get independence, I would have thought that you would want it in Edinburgh castle or even scone itself for a coronation as king of Scotland.
THAT was really what I wanted responses over.
The line of succession is not of interest to me as it is patriarchal and age driven and therefore not equitable. (not that monarchy is equitable, its just that its kind of symbolically anti-feminism)
I think that it would be nice to have a seperate coronation in Scotland, cos you could really turn it into a pageant that could be really great (rather than just the palid stale pomp in London)
went all Howard Beale as a result of this
