Read a good book while I was on holiday and it contained the following fact which I had to re-read just to let it sink in:
'It has been calculated that from the dawn of modern civilisation up until 2003, a period of around 5,000 years, all human activity generated around 5 exabytes (5 billion gigabytes) of information.
Between 2003 and 2010 the same amount of information was generated every 2 days.
By 2013 it was generated every 10 minutes.'
Knock me out with your stunning facts.
