what's the furthest down you've ever been?
think mine was st petersburg metro, which goes 86m underground.
(Krakow salt mines)
that underground cathedral was awesome
they are 212 metres deep apparently.
loads of the london underground and paris metro
Hampstead is on a steep hill and the station platforms are the deepest on the London Underground network, at 58.5 metres or 192 feet below ground level
Abbesses is the deepest station of Paris métro, at 36 metres (118 feet) below ground
going to need an approximation in metres ggb
now it looks like mine is the parody one
but as a kid I was too scared to go in lol
check this out dave, fact number 143 the elephant in the underground, even us non LME ers can enjoy that
An underground cistern in istanbul too (WAAAY cool)
that looks amazing
that looks more like a cathedral?
Who'd have thunk it.
Probably the Chunnel though (see Foppyish, passim).
but then most of would have, its not much of a journey on our behalf so we dont think of it like that.
I've never been in the channel tunnel
its nowhere near as exciting as you think it might be
it's much better
I've wanted a go on it ever since mission impossible
that seems like it's cheating
I'm definitely a little happier
