i'm also not sure about how much data I'll need.
I've never had a smartphone before
The more I read the more I come to the conclusion even 1GB is failing most people.
I never usually go over 1gb, but I don't really use it very much.
so: don't know.
maps (3 hours a week? depends where i go. sometimes it's more like 8.)
never went over 1gb
My tarrif is £40 which sounds a lot but gets me an iPhone 5c unlimited data, and computer tethering. So all my phone and internet for that price seems pretty good.
I'd consider that to be nothing more than decidedly average.
Dunno, assumed home broadband bumps up the price most spend
After a quick google it seems broadband is a lot cheaper than I thought
Given the various costs involved, you may as well get unlimited, there's no point having a smart phone if you're afraid browsing DiS on the bog will cost you a fortune.
I'm with vodafone who only go up to a (tbf, pretty whopping) 9GB, because I like having signal more than the importance of having unlimited data. It's a shitty trade off to consider, but I have 4G reception most of the time, I use my phone a lot for both work and personal stuff, and I find that 4 GB of data leaves me with a bit of wiggle room, especially as I will tether my laptop to it sometimes too.
(Not to scale)
Fuck this website.
Or is it safer to go for more? Literally no clue about this stuff. Ta!
that is now 5Gb a month, which is enough for me.
Some people say this is excessive but I tell them to shut their dirty little mouths
