No further details. Just venting.
That is all.
I've asked her to go by their building at lunch and shout "STOP BEING A FUCKING FANNY"
No, that's not a euphemism.
And now I...sigh.
And now I know exactly who you are, Epimer.
If you've got a phobia of tubby, nerdy Scotsmen.
Sent them a plan. Got the media owner ringing me up saying the client is trying to book it directly, i.e so we would have done all the work but not gotten paid
"yeah, before we give you this work can you need to show us exactly how you will do it going into the finest detail so that actually you've already done most of the work"
your expression to the client? or would you have supressed out of politeness/courtesy even were it not for 'business constraints'?
He pays me money for work. He has lots of other suppliers to choose from. He is unlikely to keep giving me money if I call him a fucking fanny.
Either way it wouldn't be very tactful.
I was trying to work out how much of an ass they were being......if its the case of you would have been courteous and polite enough not to tell them to **** off, even were it not for business constraints, #
I was going to suggest you could console yourself with the idea of you being superior and more courteous than them..........if you would have otherwise have tolf them to **** off, but were restrained by financial/business/reputational necessity, then you can console yourself with the knowledge that most other people have this enslavement too.
(insofar as those two things can be separated)
Just slightly stressful for a Friday.
I talked him out of being a fanny.
And now we wait to see how my boss construes our client having been a bit of a fanny to have been my fault.
