got them fixed for free because the electricity in our flat was all messed up and weird

I'm a little disappointed in you. But I'm not sure why.
If not, then the boiler was fixed about two weeks ago.
If it is, then I got nothing.

could do with getting my TV fixed and my 15" subs a service.
If the kettle, toaster. blender etc broke I'd probably just buy a new one. Got a puncture repaired on my car a couple of weeks ago, does that count?

My other laptop is about 7 years old and only ever still gets used for iTunes.
Had my laptop fixed just before the 2 year John Lewis warranty was up. That was a couple of years back now and it's still going strong. Cheers, John Lewis.
Had my amp fixed twice in April
had gummed up the battery socket.
can't quite remember which was more recent. Apple fixed the laptop/replaced the iPad for free (despite both being my fault, I'm pretty sure)
that wouldn't also be considered white goods.
