Did you twats know about this?
Seems like every few minutes, someone is reenacting the album cover.
I've just seen two separate ones in about 30 seconds
this is fascinating.
good on her.
there's a van in the way
My friend was too scared to stand in the middle of the road and take the picture when her dad came to visit, so she just took a pic of him crossing from the side. It literally could have been any zebra crossing in the UK, it looked ridiculous.
not seen one for a while
what are they unloading?
we should call the cops
got a nice gap in the traffic
well done lads
been there ages
wife loves the beatles, insisted on doing this and as she had pretty much organised the whole day single-handedly i thought i would allow this. plan was to re-enact the album cover with the car we had for the wedding in the background and we had to do it loads of times cos of traffic and timing, people behind the wedding car got really annoyed at it just waiting around, think the driver got a bit pissed off too.
i don't think any photos of it came out well, but wife was happy with it so guess that'll do the job.
this is amazing
and went of on a rant about how annoying that crossing is
maybe he should post on here too
i'll give a disser a tenner if they go there in the next hour and hold up a sign saying either:
"the beatles were fucking shit"
"warny is a knob"
I AM THE KNOBMAN
COCK PISS MCCARTNEY
but I'm not
'I would be a good one.
'I *heart* Mick & Keef' is what that should have said.
the beatles must have been lucky to get it when it was quiet
really early in the morning, like 8:15am or something.
I like the ones that aren't taking a photo but do the walk anyway
and now there seem to be loads all at once
what's all that about?
looking good 139
he either waved or gave the finger as they took the picture, hopefully the latter
without even having anyone take the photo
wanted to put traffic lights in there they'd be allowed to?
it's basically impossible to take a photo like the album cover. they must have closed the road.
as well you know.
It's a shit album cover
Also: TALKING HEADS ARE SHIT
it's confusing the hell out of the drivers approaching.
Drivers sometimes used to speed up just as they approached it
so you can hear all the drivers calling them cunts
so I get a live recreation of the webcam whenever I get the bus in. The bus drivers have got it sorted, no stopping for anyone.
Love how half the cars don't bother stopping, regulars pissed off with this shit.
I'd still do it tbh.
She said yes
or is it those two on the left smooching?
I just flicked onto it and he got down on one knee.
Weird that I watched that maybe.
as long as you didn't crack one off
Someone holding a Warny Is A Knob sign just said yes to the van driver
just stop the traffic
go pull a moony or something?
it's annoying me
but I might miss something
ooh nice legs
It's who you know I guess.
It's...Abbey Road Nights
no, you can't
but they probably wouldn't know about the album
The crossing got moved ages ago..
There's a couple waving at the camera, and a big truck has just pulled up!!
for a bit
plus they're putting people off going for the photo.
brace yourselves for some action.
Just seen a double decker bus go across the crossing driving on the right hand side of the road.
this is perfect viewing
they're trying again. badly. the leader just doesn't give a fuck. holding up the traffic for ages.
what have you wrought
Making it slightly dangerous for the people who do actually want to cross
That would be a killer.
which album cover was photographed here?
- "Baby You Can Drive My Car?"
- "Get out."
Or just a general London thing, that drivers seem reluctant to stop even if somebody is on the crossing?
we're not French.
They'd be there all day if they didn't push through.
Any other crossing with this number of people would have been turned into a pelican one.
Lots of people getting some good photos. Lovely to see.
I watched a bit of times square. it wasn't as good.
for the 35th anniversary of the album cover shoot
