Can't believe we've got to half 4 and there's been no OFFICIAL banal thread.
meths have you had your Boost?
going to finish it tonight.
Might convert to Christianity depending on the ending.
and 1/3 the next? why?
it hits the iceberg
"We are fackin' men and united we can do anyfink. Have a fackin' bang on that"
get that blind in the bathroom window fixed
hurry the fuck up 5pm!
I think I might be stuck in zone 6 for the time being. Something was hit by lightning. All the trains are buggered. FUCK.
I didn't know it was on
seems to get people talking
might just go straight to the pub
I want to go to the pub. And now all I can think about is sex. It's not good.
should I want to.
looks like we ware here to the death tonight. 32 minutes.
don't need one. It was just cheap.
Really don't need one.
can I have it then
I hope you're all proud of yourselves.
I still have 20 mins later
I'm guessing it was terrible. That guy was pretty good in The Fall though.
I haven't seen the film, just the trailer
What could possibly go wrong...
and even worse than the books tbf
But there's a chance people might think I want to watch the film or have read the books.
Relevant to your interests, etc, etc.
I checked netflix and lovefilm and iTunes only has it for sale for like a tenner, I'd rather rent it. I really want to see it
Wait a minute - found it on Youtube. Looks a reasonable quality too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzN4S3cuerM
I'll probably watch it tonight
Like a mixture between Dan Brown and The Wicker Man! And there's some lovely philosophical lines from Sean Connery's character. I liked 'The step between ecstatic vision and sinful frenzy is all too brief'.
GREAT priest sex scene! Up there with Sharon stone and Russell Crowe in the quick and the dead (which has been cut from most versions you can stream now :( )
Thanks - got any more recommendations?
It's a great film. Not sure I know that many more about priests - erm, The Exorcist? Calvary? http://drownedinsound.com/community/boards/social/4446447
Can probably recommend some non-priest-based films though if you give me an idea of what you might want to watch!
Have you read the books?
I wasn't keen on Dakota Johnson but after watching the trailer she seem quite likable. I think it looks ok, it can't possible be as cheesy as the books.
must have had a tough day
I'm closing down. I literally don't care. And I do mean literally.
reservoir dogs was on the telly the other day and I'd remembered the cutting off the ear bit being really gruesome but it wasn't bad at all compared to what we have now in stuff like Game of Thrones
