Well there is now.
Swimming on at the moment. What are you looking forward to seeing?
Guy who came second needs to buck up- not congratulating his team mate and being surly and self involved. I know he's disappointed but his attitude let him down 100 times more than his failure to clinch gold did.
Understandable disappointment notwithstanding. The lad who came third was much more gracious.
Fair play to Murdoch, though.
being that focused on something and spending every waking minute training for this and then not getting it. idk, I can kinda see why he might not immediately gain the composure to so the sportsman like thing. It probably just hadn't sunk in.
More miffed than malicious.
You can't hide your feelings when you're so bereft. It's just a shame that he'll look back on this and wish he had managed to summon some graciousness. Tbf he probably won't ever look back on the footage anyway. I do feel for him.
Seagull has popped his head round the patio doors to check I'm ok.
This is great for Murdoch.
They are both v cute.
Blasted things keep waking me up at the crack of dawn by squawking outside my window. And they keep shitting all over my car.
In rhythmic gymnastics. Not sure what that is, but it sounds a bit kinky.
Was really pleased for her
i ended up on the telly too, apparently. was fun
That's where we're going tonight.
First a load of people drop out through injury, then Fred Evans does get accredited for reasons that remain unclear but may be to do with him being recently convicted of lamping someone in a discotheque, not this:
Not gonna get many better chances to beat New Zealand at rugby than with them down to 5 men. And Kaka's well past it too.
Entertaining match though.
was at that this morning and almost welled up a bit for frankie jones http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/commonwealth-games/28499056
Katie Archibald! (Fuck you, BBC, cutting away half way through the points race to read out some tweets and show two people punching each others' heads else the rising star of track cycling is taking the lead in one of the sprints.)
Rugby Sevens. Have never dug rugby before, but had a great day out at Ibrox. And the finals on the telly were gripping.
Saw some tense team badminton and enjoyed cheering India on whilst sat amongst their entourage.
Never realised how relentless hockey is. Felt pretty sorry for Trinidad & Tobago getting utterly spanked.
Tonight: edge of the seat drama at the, errr, lawn bowls. :-)
Have never seen Glasgow like that, went from the BBC building to the Merchant City via George Square and it was absolutely heaving with people all the way. It was brilliant.
more than expected. Getting into the ebb and flow of it was quite hypnotising. Mostly watched a tense Malaysia v NZ. Nice afternoon out in the West End.
Would've been good to have got tix for these swimming finals.
Don't have to justify that
Sebastian Coe clearly hammered there. Amazing what can happen if you meet PO for a few minutes.
even the commentators don't seem to give a shit. it's like the last day of school.
fair play they're all having a bit of fun though.
She's my hero.
she was my fav.
jo pavey getting bronze was good
people who watch it must just be into the machismo aesthetic cos there's no entertainment value
In mad weather.
Another good showing by Archibald earlier, too.
never heard of scott thwaites but he was 3 years above me at school apparently?! and armitstead's pretty local too
Please welcome... Robert "lord of kelvin" smith with the most boring speech in the world!
What's the tents all about?
"glesga night oot"
the dry humour tweets about it are way more entertaining than the thing itself. #metalifeforlyf
at the sneering going on in the guardian live blog and some of comments underneath
serves me right for going on the guardian website I suppose
The Especially For You duet with Alex Salmond that she insisted on as a finale is gonna put the world to rights.
Wonder if it'll be as successful as the new track George Michael got to plug in 2012. Speaking of which, where /is/ Emile Sande?
"Responding to reports that police officers had allegedly soiled themselves during long shifts, Mr Docherty said the federation had been unable to identify anyone involved, despite its best efforts."
