i forgot to say thanks, how rude.
Thanks for this thread. We went at lunch just there, assumed it would be the bog-standard Hamburger but no, it was any fucking burger on the menu! We could barely believe it when the guy said that.
Got a Smoky with some skin-on chips, and some cheapskate tap water. Whole thing came to £3.25 for me, excluding a tip.
Now I'm going to have a nap...
Will probably try next week, reckon I'd be recognised immediately.
Our waiter said there were 1000 free burgers, all went in 2 hours apparently. He mentioned some more might go up...
i only got one code, was planning to get another after i go for lunch on thursday. hadnt occurred to me that it was limited
i was going to go this lunchtime too but was too busy - colleagues went though. Bastards.
and it's basically on waterloo bridge? but there's already a byron about 100m north of that? fucking insane
and it's not right next to the old one at all.
still, there are lots and lots of byrons
if you feel you can't go in now I'll happily take your voucher off you.
I just counted. On their website there's THIRTY SIX in London.
so got invited to the soft launch of that branch the other weekend - got starter, burger, side and pud on the house, just had to pay for drinks. Great stuff, I recommend the Ronaldo if it's still going.
SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BYRON
I got an invite too but couldn't go :(
joined up then havent i
I normally go Byron cos I like the Byron sauce and sometimes the chilli one. I feel like there's a great toppings / sauce combo I'm missing out on, so can you fill me iiiiiiinnnnn?
In return I recommend the iceberg wedge side salad cos it's fucking funny when it arrives (and then is tasty).
Went for the Smoky. It was good. Shared some onion rings and skin-on chips with the thinly-veiled and drank tap water (I'm cheap like that) and it came to a grand total of £6.60 or something ridic.
The building itself is REALLY nice; what was it before Byron?
can't be certain though.
