London = full of people
People = shit
.'. London = Shit
.'. EmO is right
manchester is basically london so if you don't like london you must hate manchester
There's definitely pockets of it though.
Is that everyone covered?
going to go to a chilli (the vegetable not stag do staple) festival or so I am told. That might not be that near though.
Didn't realise you could camp and stuff. You'd really have to like chilli to do all three days.
you could have leftovers
see you there!
i'll be the one with teh massive hat shaped liek a chilli
...is worthy of an exclamation mark.
All the rest are pretty good.
A lot of really, really grim research...
You also seem to have missed:
Also: Derby is fine.
And Peterborough isn't so bad.
Can't argue in favour of the rest though.
I've changed my mind: your list is woefully insufficient.
Hull, Portsmouth and Leicester are three of the most underrated cities in the country for my money. All great fun.
I used to work in Derby - it's rubbish...
but overall, it's a no.
To be honest, you could say the same about most cities. It just depends on whether you know the good bits or not.
that we live in a fabulous country that wipes the floor with anywhere else in the world, and even places that some people assume are grim actually make other countries' towns look like CrispinAlexander's smegma encrusted belm
Both for cities and countryside the UK is incredibly blessed. While it might not possess extremes like The Grand Canyon or The Alps, if you were to be dropped anywhere on the map you would have to land in a particularly nasty inner city hellhole for it not to be basically quite nice.
don't like Edinburgh that much but it has loads of good galleries and a good bookshop and stuff
