I got Magic 2014 in the Steam sale. The preconstructed green deck shits on the white AI decks but has a hard time against the black decks. Are deck archetypes more defined by their colour, or something broader (rush/aggro/control/denial etc)?

Also, how much a month do you spend on Magic? This is out of curiosity, not for snark, so in interests of full disclosure I will state that it's not too unusual for me to spend £100 on board games (etc) in a month.
