Was it a much different taste to black pepper?
either pink or green, tastes like SOAP. horrible.
Helpful. Not like SOME.
they weren't ground enough. Interesting.
Tomorrow:has anyone tried any of those different kinds of bread?
I don't have two pepper grinders, mate. I don't want to be buying a lot of extra stuff just to find out they're shit, eh?
You live with the consequences.
You seem to be unable to note the effort difference involved here, though:
Ask members of a message board if they think such peppercorns are worth it.
Going out and buying said peppercorns and then grinding them with a fucking pestle and mortar and trying them in the next meal that needs some pepper that comes up.
Why not just pick up a pot of both next time you shop? Treat yourself. Don't rely on the tastes of the social board, don't do that to yourself
so that's a vote against.

Because it is quite complimentary to their aging process.
...as I just yesterday bought some of these bad boys:
You definitely get a slightly tangier taste from mixed as opposed to the sharpness of just black. ^They are mostly just an experiment as I usually buy Lidl's mixed pepper as I am a povo at heart.
Still a big fan of your work. Pentago for PM.
I'd stick with black, you don't gain a lot from these different snazzy ones.
you're making lots of accusations lately of untruths!
i do agree though that theo is having a breakdown
But are you honestly telling me you can't imagine Theo trying to crowdsource the answer to "do I like green peppercorns?"
I had them recently in a sauce. I haven't always liked them but i do now.
I can't remember how I feel about red. i think the green ones make me sneeze.
multicultural pepper. I think it's mainly black and white making up about 60%, then 20% red, 20% green?
Had delicious wonderfully subtle nuance on my regular pepper choice*
*Tasted nice, but not sure how much of that was a placebo effect
