i just bought a cooked chicken from the deli at the supermarket. it's still v. warm, how do i store it?
of storing it, thought the point of them was to just eat pretty much instantly for convenience
but if not the case then obviously like a chicken you would cook at home, wait until cool then fridge it.
i'm not a glutton/rich
I wax them into mini babybel type things. Ideal for picnics.
then stick in the fridge. No harm done.
just wanted to confirm. cheers!
It's only really a problem putting a warm bird in the fridge if you have other stuff in there with it (might increase the overall temperature) otherwise you could whack her straight in when you get home.
But on balance, yeah, give her an hour on the worktop with a cover over her
dig a hole and put the chicken into the hole
you could run it under cold water too cool it quicker, if you were super-worried.
