It's like a big middle finger poking you in the double chin.
One of the guys on my team is pretty overweight but brings salad for lunch every day.
I need to shut the fuck up but I keep forgetting =(
I need to stop.
Rlly makes u think.
That stuff's pretty boring, but I mean the ones who will sit at a restaurant/office canteen table with a bunch of lardy bloaters and then say they feel fat or need to lose weight. There's always one. It seems like it's a fairly acceptable thing to do, but I can't help thinking it's really rude when you're sat with even one person who's bigger than you, body fat wise.
They probably find it annoying that other people mistakenly think it is easy for them not having to worry about being fat.
No-one's forcing them to shag fatties or anything
I meant that they do have to worry about maintaining their weight, as they have been fat in the past, but anytime they express this to other people they are dismissed as having nothing to worry about because they are not fat.
to think they're bigger than they already are. I don't mind them saying something like 'no, I'm watching my weight' but some folk just can't seem to stop things like 'no, I'm too fat' slipping out, I just find it a bit offensive if there's anyone at the table bigger than them because it's pretty much calling them fat as well.
but if i understand and sympathise with your plight
I still spend a lot of time thinking about it, but I don't talk about it anymore.
Seem to talk about their worry of being too slim*
*I am generalising.
Again I find it boring. Also, when I order a take away and my one friend is like 'oh no, i couldn't possibly eat pizza' and then WOLFS it down when it arrives. Fuck off please.
Just back off me pizza bitches this pizza is miiiinne
What a downer.
Especially if you order less food to accomodate them.
'In my day a Juice Fast was called Anorexia'. Which is true. Even 7-10 years ago, thinspiration was thinspiration, and any kind of ALL ONE THING diet was usually only attributed to pro-ana. Now, thinspiration is the 'celebrity' section of the news, and stravation/ALLONETHING diets are the 'health' section. Kate '7stone' Middleton is 'normal' looking.
Summarily, unless you have ribs poking out, a woman of any weight can be dieting. As I'm a woman I focus on that side, but the same pressures apply to men, with more emphasis on the gym. All that matters is happiness.
and claim that powders and pills provided by pyramid meal replacement schemes are healthy
someone should start giving michael pollan books out at gyms where the trainers are juice plus/herbalife reps
at least until gyms ban their staff from being reps.
as they are clearly fishing for a "oh no, you aren't fat". Which means you either have to lie if they are fat or you have to give them the satisfaction of a compliment if they aren't. I just keep silent now.
