Probably as long as it takes to to walk to Wilkinsons. Magnificent thread.
but I'd need a good excuse for leaving the office.
"to see how quick I could get hold of a sieve" would probably suffice.
within 4 minutes?
(I reckon four minutes for me, traffic dependent and I would have to park illegally but you've got to do what you've got to do).
that could be a game changer
They must have one - 90 seconds (45 to get there, 45 to locate a sieve).
and they probably won't resist. Might even help you out.
I could go to the restaurant two doors away.
"Hi, can I hold one of your sieves?"
"Certainly, sir. Small, medium or large?"
"Large, I think."
"Very good sir. Francois! One sieve for the genteleman."
2 minutes tops.
*ACTUAL OR printed picture of one?
I reckon 2 minutes.
there's one in the work kitchen
and timed it, just over two mins, in heels, and including the stairs to top of flat where kitchen is. So, if I put on my flats, maybe just over 2 mins?
as it is from NOW!
What do you need it for? (before I change out of my nice shoes).
In one hand count?
So... reckon I could get it in under 2 seconds.
Also the sieve is next to the colander. Could grab either or both.
from here to deptford high street...might take a bit of running in and out of the poundies but needs must.
is about a three-minute jog away, plus about a minute to find the kitchen utensils and pick up one of the straining little fuckers.
But I wouldn't like my chances in trying to get in there.
45 in traffic and that's on a good day!
Depending on lift efficiency - 2 minutes 30 seconds?
don't use it as an excuse for your shoddy estimate.
don't get me started.
End of sub-thread.
*does not rinse out the bits*
*cleans sieve right way up then tips the sieve to drain out the bits*
*bits stick to sieve*
I can get there in about 30 seconds, but I'm going to have to add on another 20 for rummaging. So I'd go for 50 seconds. I'm not 100% sure it passes the gnocchi test, but it would definitely stand a chance.
Absolutely stupendous thread.
Is it one of these weird things like Po-Tah-Toe?
