Falcao is out of the World Cup. Rubbish.
What the fuck are Germany wearing this time? It's so bad.
Probably wouldn't have got in the side anyways
Hardly a showcase of the world's greatest talents.
Would probably win every time though
Good for the neutrals/people from crap nations, too.
Misc FC. Can genuinely actually probably see a time when Nike are allowed to enter their own team.
I didn't even know he had a Brighton residence, but I guess those #KingTipper winnings earn you many a luxury bolthole by the sea.
“It’s nothing to do with showing profit. Mr Harrison and his friends are not the type of people we want in our shops.”
it's one of the countries leading bookies saying "In the event that you succeed in gambling with us, we reserve the right to make any such bet void."
Still, the overall scenario speaks for itself.
but I'm quite sad that he's gone.
Fabregas is a great player and all, and there's no doubt that we'd be better for having him and should put real effort into making it happen if it is a genuine option, but there'd still be something a little meh about an Arsenal/Barca evangelist coming in as our record goalscorer leaves. It'd make Twitter a lot of fun for a few days though.
With Hazard/Oscar/Willian/Costa in front of them will be almost unfairly good.
In reality, who would be a fair swap for Lampard? As much as I take much joy out of mocking him - he's pretty much irreplaceable.
They piss away extraordinary money on completely unfathomable deals. Don't find it all difficult to believe they'd be willing to sell up.
goals, passes, shit celebrations - I'm up for all of it. Love the guy (on the field). Feel a bit sorry that Gerrard ruined the England team that could have meant him winning a World Cup/Euro. Top, top player.
Can someone find that goal he scored against Barcelona (chest trap and volley type affair)?
I'm going to be all you've got on here.
for most consecutive shots without scoring...by finally scoring and then having it disallowed.
Why did he only score goals against Leeds?
Have done ever since seeing the two Southend Chelsea cup ties. Most of your players were lazy and bored by having to play a lower league side but he was class. Scolari was also on the ropes but he was so good throughout both legs. His ability to move the ball into space with one touch, know where to make runs into and flick his head around swiftly to locate options was terrifying. Kilbane said on 5Live yesterday that the UEFA coaching badge DVD uses Frank as the example of the perfect player.
He was also a nice chap and popped in the dressing room to say well played to the team, also donating his shirt and match fee to a local charity. Spoke about Southend well and so articulately. Would be interested to see if he'd make a good pundit.
I'll also always love that radio phone in where he argued with the DJ about why he and the wife had split. Reduced him to nothing.
Since those games I've watched him a lot more closely for England too and he gets unfairly criticised I think for having to do a role he usually doesn't for Chelsea.
Can't see him going to another top Premier League side but might join 'Arry for 6 months I guess until the US season starts...?
Anyhow, top top player. Triffick chap.
I saw him once or twice when he was at Stockport and I thought he was a complete shithouse. Now he's playing Champion's League football for his boyhood club and going to the World Cup; never stops looking like he's won the biggest phone-in competition ever. Hard not to feel chuffed for him.
like Doves or Elbow
for a guy who will be perfectly willing to sit on the bench and be better than Iago Aspas.
Imagine he falls off or faces the wrong way quite a lot of the time.
DanielKelly will be along shortly to remind everyone of Liverpool's UEFA FFP responsibilities in due course.
That's how much he cares.
when Hodgson offered £10m back in 2010, and not for any financial reasons - imagine the joy that could have been had watching wrighty talk about that over the years
a) announced their new kit (identikit adidas red and white stripes surprisingly enough)
b) signed alan judge from Blackburn on a permanent deal, which is good, should do well in the championship I think.
c) announced they're playing a friendly at barnet. I was thinking of going cos it's easy to get to on the northern line but they moved didn't they? now i'm not so sure.
It's on the Jubilee Line (Canons Park or Queensbury) but you can probably get there from the Edgware branch of the Northern Line as well.
but not the Barnet fans.
Players from rubbish countries rather than players who haven't been called up. Tried to do one per country too:
Where is brusma anyway?
And Ramsey (obviously).
Alaba Chiriches Nastasich Ivanovich
Ramsey Mkhitaryan Bale Turan
Something like that
Ramsey Ramsey Ramsey Ramsey
Walcott Ramsey Ramsey
sheffield wednesday are in the process of being bought out by some azeri billionaire with links to lens and atletico madrid.
hnnnnnngh muh dick
lens are his major interest
Demichelis survives the chop and the ponytail world cup dream lives on.
Central defender Miguel Layun was the first Mexican to play in Serie A. He was so bad that he was responsible for the hashtag #TodoesculpadeLayún (everything is Layun's fault).
We'll quickly work our way down to the C-List where we simply sweep up all the decent players in Eredivisie. Later we'll come to realise that with a few players who aren't complete numpties alongside Rooney, RVP, Mata, Januzaj and de Gea, and one or two of the lads that were perfectly fine under Fergie getting motivated again, we'll have a reasonable team that'll probably squeeze us back into the Champions League, as Liverpool cave under the pressure of having too many games.
I want us to destroy teams and then LvG to rip Geoff Shreeves head of and piss down his throat post match.
Size up our top targets and have a think about who realistically we might sign? Kroos, Fabregas, Schweini? Unlikely. What about the ones that could instantly transform us to contenders? Ronaldo, Bale, Ibra, Messi? Literally no chance. We need to work on the basics and be ready to snap up any game changers if and when they become available.
We need to rebuild our team by creating strength in depth, which just isn't something you do by going all out for one or two big name signings. They also have to gel. However, we already have a handful of world class players in their positions, and we can get back to a good standard next year and back into contention. Anything else is a bonus.
Meireles is beginning to resemble that big bastard from Game of Thrones:
Just clips of odd World Cup shenanigans.

2. Kevin Keegan made out of tights
1. Trevor Francis getting hit in the face by a door.
than that BBC3 one last week or the ITV one presented by Angus Deayton
man that was bad.
and instead was some kind of national treasure?
Can't wait to switch back.
He wasn't on it much, don't worry
iPlayer it y'all. You get to see Jimmy Greaves ranting about weathermen completely out of context.
excited about '66 and visiting Sheffield or wherever it was.
The Japanese press seem quite excited that Honda got an assist.
"Exquisite assist you revived Honda!"
In beating Costa Rica, Japan are also preemptively mugging England off.
for the second round.
Alright then, did you lot decide upon a game to watch after work, did I miss it?
Class of champions
Players signing for the wrong clubs and stuff, because they were desperate to 'focus' on their national sides and their agents faxed the wrong contracts over
Holland win the World Cup. Van Gaal arrives at United on a high and instantly wins the respect of his new #bunchoftwats. United win the league at a canter.
Holland piss and moan at each other and go out in the group stage. Van Gaal arrives at United with the dreaded 'question marks' over his capabilities and fails to win the respect of his #bunchoftwats. United win the league at a canter.
They have a stinking group, and they're an aging team
Which ex-British based players are you looking forward to seeing at the World Cup?
Alex Song and Gervinho for me.
FUCK OFF MATE
signing for utd
get out the way of my bants
Always like to see that nutter.
And surely, SURELY Lucas Neill has retired by now...
Wikipedia has just informed me that he used to play for Manly United. Manly. United.
Have to make do with Alan Dzagoev instead
He's out of control.
Falcao pulls out of world cup then Roy Keane pulls out as an ITV pundit.
A sad day for football
Fucking HATE him
not Falcao - Rock Me amadeus was ace
that's a real shame. he's great value.
(don't know if Southgate is still an ITV pundit, he was definitely most scared of Keane though)
Just to put the rumours to rest WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN SIGNING HESKEY ! THE RUMOURS ARE TOTALLY FALSE !
Good to see Heskey can still terrify a club's fanbase in the transfer window even years after leaving elite level football
After yer man Edin Dzeko bagged a brace to see off Ivory Coast the other day we've got a friendly against Mexico at 2.30 in the morning. I, for one, am buzzing.
gonna miss this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJtaXhn_h74
