stop it you're going to set me off
I used Johnson baby shampoo as a child and they werent fucking around with their tagline
we're told to think think this aren't we but I cry a lot and my bf hasn't cried since he was a child and we have similar mental health so i'm not sure if it makes a difference.
Not if you don't cry at films and stuff. I find it quite contrived when people cry at films or something. The thing with crying is I only do it when I'm really really sad about something to do with my own life. Therefore I'm probably not going to do it just because I'm watching something sad happening on a screen.
But I wept like a fucking child after the first twenty or so minutes of Up
Probably something to do with detachment issues idk
You big wimp
Perhaps there's something weird about that.
Each to their own. the ex said he never really cried until he met me.
I AM A BEAST.
I hadn't cried at any REAL LIFE EVENTS for about 10 years and then last year I had a week where I couldn't stop crying every day for about a week. Didn't think it was possible. Getting a bit teary just thinking about it to be honest.
All depends on what happens to you. No set pattern to these things.
Didn't cry for years and years throughout my teenager years, or once at university, not for real life stuff or at films or anything. Last couple of years, it's happened a couple of times. I sobbed at the end of Warrior on a plane, FFS.
Also, one of those "A letter to" bits in the Guardian's Family section on a Saturday had me weeping like a baby a few weeks ago. That wasn't fun.
of Roy and Hayley made me well up a bit.
I also cried during Neighbours when Bridget died.
that i'm aware of. probably cried at the lion king when *spoiler* mufasa dies *spoiler* or et when *spoiler* he goes home *spoiler*.
i cry when i'm frustrated or overwhelmed/stressed more than i do anything else.
...i might not cry/be super upset about anything for ages and then something totally daft will catch me off guard, generally when i'm half cut and i'll have a wee cry.
being half cut ;)
- any song or film written about someone;s relationship with their dad
- anything to do with people suffering through labour struggles
- people being heroic in war (eg the guy from independence day flying into the laser)
- the idea of old people
need to sort it out really.
all those + the passage of time
Any time I watch big fish I always get a lump in my throat
Its very embarrassing too and I cant control it. Consider it some sort of defect. Wish it didnt happen :'''(
