Foreign = not in England OR the English league pyramid (so Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Wrexham etc don't count)
Technically not TFC's stadium but worked a couple of games there for a friendly against Liverpool and Champions League game between TFC and LAG.
For the Liverpool game they played YNWA and a group of kids were singing 'We all live in a team of Steve G's'...whatever that means.
100 indie points for now-demolished ground that mainly hosted rugby matches.
100 more indie points for watching football on a cricket ground.
the road that goes right around basin reserve is the biggest roundabout in the southern hemisphere #trufax
No sport going on but there are rugby goal posts up.
I used to live across the road from there on Sussex Street at the apartments there. It was great, from outside out window we could see right into the grounds. Any sign of them pulling down or re-doing the old pavilion earthquake hazard stand?
Sadly in the process of being half re-built at the time.
The only football match I have ever seen where the crowd fluently switches between boos and cheers for each of their players as the leave the field one by one.
Spent 2 summers living there when I was a student & went to several games at Le Chaudron. One of the most atmospheric places to watch football in Europe - proper old-school football ground close to the pitch, mental supporters, and big crowds even when they were in Ligue 2. And back in those days (1989/91) you could buy cans of beer and take them onto the terraces with you.
It was for an Argentinian second division game. Those indie point multipliers are really having to work overtime in this thread.
Fluminense match when i went.
