And then I'd sell it all on for $$$
what if you move? You need a bunch of people who see themselves sticking round for a long time to make it work (for them, the business doesn't care once they've got the money).
I'd easily pay $1000 for beer for life at Spoons.
if all they have is shite lager
I'd pay £5K
I'd probably give a non-vital internal organ
That's about 150-200 pints.
That's about a year's worth of beer, albeit you'd have to drink in the same pub for all that time.
for a year or thereabouts, it could be worth it. Interesting.
more like 10 weeks
I don't like beer
"Nah, different name and totally different ownership, pal."
I would definitely, completely, mercilessly take the piss
how long would it take you to drink £6,000 of booze? Not very long probably.
I'd say i spend around £350 a month on beer and i never really go mad on hugely expensive nights out either, just a couple of evenings out a week, a few pints on the weekend, the odd case of beers for home.
I'm thir....in my late twenties, say i live to, idk, 70, probably optimistic, that's forty years of boozing, even if i slow down after i'm, say, 50, that's over twenty years of solid drinking, then twenty years of part-time...
so after some crude maffs i'm guessing i'd spend around £125k in that time, you'd obviously want a huge profit on that, so i'm gonna say i'd pay £12,500 now to guarantee beer for the rest of my life, but that'd be providing it wasn't limited to one pub and there were guarantees it would be honoured.
52 weeks a year
will drink beer for 50 years
£4 a pint in london
Beer for life deal - I'd pay £70,000 tomorrow?
