LOL! Continuing their tradition of supplying shit headphones to their consumers or something.
overpriced - yep
shit - nah, that's you son
talked about a bit in there
"Apple on Wednesday confirmed its long-awaited deal to buy headphone-maker Beats Electronics for $3bn" but then goes on about streaming, etc.
However, I can't see why they wouldn't then also start using the Beats thing all over their products like HTC did on one of their phones.
surely itunes could get a streaming service up and running for less than $3B ? it's not like beats music is that successful yet anyway
incredible marketing effort.
Is this your new Russell Brand direction, Theo?
You know who the real losers have been in the rise of Beats? Wesc. I walked past their Carnaby Street shop the other day and was reminded that for about 6 months they were absolutely dominating the £200 brightly-coloured over-sized headphones market.
It’s almost as if We Are the Superlative Conspiracy made no sense at all to anyone.
Wasc would've cleaned up
Or maybe just calling themselves We, the Superlative Conspiracy.
According to their website it's from a famous quote by Thomas Jefferson. One so famous I can't find it anywhere else other than their website.
such a shit name, such a shit acronym, such a shit logo
after Dre boasted about it on Instagram before it was signed or some such.
so they're buying the COOLEST BADEST HIPPEST HEADPHONES ON THE PLANET and it a company that fits their ethos of producing overpriced goods.
It's a completely logical move from Apple though it wouldn't surprise me if this deal fucks em over in some way as Beats become unfashionable (because Beat's isn't a brand that sells it's self on quality, but on fashion... and as soon as fashion changes they're fucked without some radical design changes)
Really Theo? I thought better off you.
We did have a thread. And we still do have a thread!
"Have we had...", yeah?
yeah didn't he say he was inspired by shit Apple's headphones were?
