So recently I've been busier at work and have been working from about 8 until about 6 rather than my usual 9-5. Yes, now you mention it I suppose I am a bit like Superman. Anyway because I'm eating breakfast earlier I find I get hungry in the middle of the morning and am incredibly hungry by the time I get home seeing as lunch needs to tide me over for another hour.
Been trying to find some decent snacks to plug these gaps with minimal success. So far I've breakfast biscuits (condensed cardboard wrongness), those Natural bar things (81p a pop? Fuuuuuuck off) and fruit (goes off in my desk). This morning I had a bacon roll and a doughnut at about 10, which did the trick but would probably turn me into a fat auditor over a long period of time.
Summary: recommend me some non-perishable workday snacks please. Anyone who suggests graze boxes can show themselves out.
