at least, compared to most other cities. The owner still sounds like a twat though, but I suspect they'd get the same reception at quite a few other places.
That pub has gone through at least half a dozen different incarnations in the past 15 years, and out of those only the previous one was really a rock pub - the majority of the others were pretty cheesy.
