which supermarket do you use most often?
what size beer should I buy tonight?(any crazy deals on beer?)
usually get 6 big bottles of stella or 8 cans.. :/
On account of it being nearest.
You'll be glad to know they've returned the football stickers to near the magazine, thank fuck. Though yesterday as I went through the till the lady said "some little boy or girl is going to be VERY happy with these!" and I said "YEAH, ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Bought some *new* McVities Digestives caramel slices yesterday. Haven't opened them yet.
No idea about deals on beer. I bought shitloads of Spitfire when it was on offer the other month and have only just finished it because it's actually pretty horrid.
one time I bought some Dr who stickets on the off chance.. lady in asda was like youre bit old for theese arent you!? I said.. I just want to see if I get a shiny dalek.. went out to the car, opened the packet.. ran back to the shop to show her the shiny dalek! never bought another packet
Bet she thought you were really odd.
get large beers. no idea what offers are on. I don't know. just some big beers of something.
Co-Op (nearest) for anything else I need in the week
Although for some reason Spar for fags and booze
Don't know what to get for myself tonight booze wise, was thinking a bottle of casillero del diablo, don't know why I'm craving it.
And that's my life up to now.
Asda for convenience as it's the closest to here.
Get a few of those big bottles of foreign lager that are always on like 3 for £5 or something. Big fan of Cusquena at the moment.
that 3 for £5 deal on their finest kentish ale/ipa/celebration ale
Also veg market and butchers.
asda/waitrose/sainsburys for top up depending on what I need, how far from payday it is and whether I have to take the children
Badgers 'Hopping Hare' bottles at less than £1.30.
M&S/Waitrose: work stuff
Get some nice lager.
I would say yes.
The massive one in West Bridgford. Pretty cheap, decent range of gin and Ale. Two minute away from my front door.
Sometimes go to M&S for Veggie Percys.
Just polished off a packet t'other day.
unless they involve pish like Fosters, 440ml tins as well the cheeky fuckers. The packs of stubby French lagers are alright though. I go for the local Bargain Booze and get 4 Polish lagers for £4, and a selection of bottled ales, usually 3 for a fiver will do me the weekend.
Lidl, Duke St, for mostly veg and top ups, every two or three days.
Co-op, Alexandra Parade, for impromptu bits, once a week or thereby.
Sains: big shop
*all proportions given by quantity not by price
Places I've lived it would've been 100% Tesco, other places 100% Morrison's.
Thanks for listening.
Although it's only 5 mins walk so I normally do slightly smaller shops, maybe twice a week.
Sainsbury's Local by work (Cannon St) if I miss anything (it's on my way home).
