I just got into it but if I've missed the boat thats fine
Here's one from December: http://drownedinsound.com/community/boards/social/4441298
I think we've had all the threads
'why we always gotta be the trash men, or the maids or the gardeners, hmmm?'
far too shouty, starts to get on my nerves if i watch too much
Anyone notice Dennis's bald patch in Fargo?
The new series fargo? I might start watching it.
It's great though so it deserves them.
Got a bone to pick with all of you lot suggesting that the latest season was a return to form though, it was OK I guess but certainly wasn't anywhere near as good as the first 5 seasons or so. They are running out of ideas for sure.
But they're all from before I chain-watched it all over Christmas and throughout January. Very Bottom-ish, I find. Lovely stuff.
Workaholics and then AD's House Party are that style too but IMO the latter is better.
If you like your comedy darker, Delocated and Jon Benjamin Has a Van are better too.
I enjoy it but I can just feel it turning me into a worse moral person
I can't find fault in it at all.
Shhh. Don't reply. just have a think about what you have posted. Shhh.
DAY BOW BOW
not only do *all* of these people exist, but they have been requesting their mail on a *daily basis*
now think it#s ok, since i realised that it's basically Trailer Park Boys in a city
the city is philadelphia
really, really like it. I'm finding it hard to articulate quite what's so good about it... I guess because it's just so funny and the main cast are so (weirdly refreshingly) relentlessly petty and idiotic in a way that's curiously relateable, yet sometimes will just sneak really intelligent and detailed satire (the welfare episode) under your nose; and character details that say a lot but aren't heavy-handed at all. (I think I remember it being compared to stuff like Arrested Development and the Young Ones, but I think there's definitely a hint of South Park at its peak in there, too)
Also Danny Devito clearly loves every minute of it
aye, it's like a live action cartoon world.
FIGHT OF THE NIGHT MAN (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)
CHAMPION OF THE SUN (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)
YOU'RE A MASTER OF KARATE AND FRIENDSHIP
