Just interested. And what are your tactics for overcoming the introspection that comes with being unemployed?
which is an all time high. A surprise as the low of 8.72% was just in September 2012.
The DiSers who get propped up financially by their parents when they're out of work will probably give you some bullshit opinion about why that's counter-productive but that's nonsense. Get a job doing data entry or in ASDA or as a postman, look for a better job, don't put it on your CV. Sorted.
who are these guys?
in bands but otherwise unemployed or working part-time close to the centre of London thanks to daddy's monthly stipend or flat deposit. hundreds of 'em.
striding about all day wearing shorts & whistling at folk. if they paid a bit better i'd be all over it.
Much to my surprise a lot of the time.
that is going nowhere and doesn't allow you to move out of your parents house?
get something else going on outside of a job, like taking up a sport of something, so you have something positive to focus on if the job hunt feels a little saddening
last time i was out of work i started cracking my joints so much that i tore a shoulder muscle and my hands were aching constantly, way too easy to get comfy in boredom and self-loathing when you're unemployed, shit jobs only keep it at bay for a couple of months though. got to fill your time with something that feels worthwhile innit. one of those human condition things.
