the way they make jokes about cunt politicians as though they're all just harmless clowns etc.
and smug obv
then Hislop and Merton did a one-two funny, it was a Friday night, and I'd had a couple of beers, so the moment passed
I was thinking the same thing as the OP watching this episode at the weekend too. As ever this series they also have had some interesting MPs on and take them to task, but I can't work out if it's ultimately good or bad. On the one hand I think it's good someone is pointing out the hypocrisy of Farage and his German secretary, on the other it's making him more famous. Likewise the MP earlier on this series who had claimed loads of expenses illegally and never paid them back; was great he got chastised for it in public but then they all make a laugh of it and he goes on his merry way; why the hell aren't these people answerable for their crimes in the same way us mere mortals are?
Ultimately, not sure what I think. I like the show and am glad that occasionally they get to point out a complete travesty of justice, but if making light of it ultimately serves the politicians better, is it worth it? Guess it's down to people voting at the end of the day...
In short, some MPs are bellends. Allegedly.

Piers Morgan any time he gets 4 seconds spare
what's he done?
He seems nice
Also hate it when the crap presenter does a bit where there's a really basic insult at the end with a swearword like 'how about now, you twat.' and the presenter's really gleeful and the audience love it as though it's amazing
which will probably happen within the next five years won't it
