Should you drink a lot of booze (e.g. downing pints/shots) in a short period of time (1 hour), or should you drink steadily over the course of the night out (sip pints all night)? I want to outlast the night so I won't feel at all tired/crap until waking up the next day, but recently I've been getting to the stage where it suddenly hits me and I feel crap an hour before everyone leaves. Does canned beer do this? Should only shots/mixes be consumed if I want to get 'properly drunk'?
Anecdotal evidence is acceptable. Also, what's the most ideal drink for this?
Actually I think I have an answer. Drink 3 pints and spend the rest of the evening on shots, idk...
