I'm in st Pancras station waiting to get on the ol' eurostar. Later.
If it's a fun thing hope you have fun x
Aye its to go see a dear friend in Paris a, should be brill. Train is stuck in the statii now tho, apparently something ain t working on it. Maybe I hurt its feelings
Should probably go for a run or sth.
Definitely shouldn't have gone for a run *throws up in trainers*
Not exactly a magical experience. Though managed to bag à double seat to myself
That for you? Mine does
I've got to get up at a similarly awful hour on Saturday to go to Stansted. Probably not even worth going to bed.
6am preflight pint in an airport though!
I'll Snapchat you all <3
yesterday I felt pretty rough in the morning, initially decided i was ill but then put it down to massive fizzy drink intake, and when I knocked that on the head I felt better. today I have avoided fizzy drink, currently feel 10% worse than yesterday. maybe I'm just allergic to mornings, or work, or mornings at work?
today at work I will be taking screenshots of one of our new applications, pasting then into word, writing instructions like "click OK" and then drawing a circle round the OK button because apparently it's difficult to follow complex instructions like "click OK" without a screenshot based guide. literally the most tedious thing I've ever done at work, and I spent two weeks doing nothing but opening post when I started here.
i did an 80 page handbook for a keying-in system in the same manner. nearly topped me'sen
all varying from about 10 pages to about 80 pages. I've done three. probably going to be working on them for the next week or so. just unbelievably shit.
until next Wednesday, when I have the joys of covering the important job of clicking a button at 5pm as someone is having a day off. love my job, it's great.
And then retired to bed. Couldn't get to sleep, so watched gravity. Solid film, who knew?
Going to Woking to meet an old pal from my Houston days tonight. Most exciting part will be the train, as usual.
Well in mate
Decent burgers, and the additions etc are all nice touches, and they're well put together, and the fries are delicious, but the bun is pretty basic, and the price point, not including fries as well, really does get to me a bit.
They do a really, really good burger and a stupidly huge pile of the best chips I've ever eaten for £8. For value there's nothing that even comes close to that.
actually I think the maccas double cheesburger probably works out better for the money. and the big mac.
what it really beasts are the places like five guys and shake shack that are selling fast-food type burgers but for beaucoup £££
but not as good as the US/canada versions. and way more expensive. and they gave me a small cajun fries when i asked for a small regular fries, so to compensate they gave me a large, which was a poly bag filled with chips that i could've used to feed my family back home. which is the same as it is in the us and canada.
can't wait to ride it.
I'm off down the bicycle shop today to price my new stead.
Gunna couple it with lunchtime pints
have a great trip.
Should probably get my haircut today. Also need to go into work to check when I'm due back.
Made myself a grilled cheese on rye bread that I baked for breakfast. Felt so greasy but oh so good at the same time.
Dragging dying cargo across the world
So fed up of being hungover in work. Or am I
Enjoy your trip though :)
not sure whether go get up. My parents friend is staying with us (for a month?) and I hate awkward coversations. I actually haven't seen/spoken to him all week cause I've been out at stuff in the evening or in my room studying. Gonna just go down though and ask polite questions about his plans for the day and stuff. He's just gone to the bathroom actually maybe he's about to go out. Be a bit weird if he was planning to sit about watching the wright stuff with me.
he's coughed a few times and I reckon it's so I know he's in the house and don't get a fright.
not awkward anymore :)
where are they going? I hope it's not the owl sanctuary she was meant to be taking me to :(
to a guest in your house
bit early for owls isnt it..
have fun in pareeeee
kind of rustic, good leg room mind
victoria line was merked this morning, hardcore human bundling in the tunnels
taken tomorrow off so got myself a nice run of 3-4 day weeks, bangarang
Desperate to enjoy my day off as tomorrow looks like being a nightmare day in work- I'd reached this conclusion myself, but my boss (who is basically a young Malcolm Tucker) helpfully took me aside yesterday and said 'enjoy your day off, because Friday'll be a c*** of a day.' He's nothing if not honest. Feels like the sort of morning where I'll make a cup of tea every time I'm bored, and then feel sick from too much tea.
see you in a bit.
Working from home today and an event thing later. Feeling like shit :(
(I was running late after doing a massive poo)
Spent EVEN MORE money on board games last night and I've got a nerd gems game in the pub tonight. Living the dream.
Work is fucking boring/busy but my nerd gems are keeping me going.
I've got nothing
preferably in a bottle rather than a soap bar cos its got to go in my washbag.
prefer one with the gravel like stuff to get deep into my face n that
just use lukewarm water now
skin better than ever
my skin would probably not like that :/
i had pretty naff skin, think all the shit i put on it as a teenager didn't help much now, i remember i used to stain pillowcases!
it doesn't even have coal tar in it as that's not allowed now without prescription. anyway, fuck cares what the ingredients are, my skin is AMAZNIg and it's about 60 pence. (ok slight confessoin is that i then cover my face in fifty quid snail oil, 200 quid prescriptoin only Retinol andthen a layer of GLA borage cream, but I honestly think it's the soap that's made it suddenly look great as I've been doing the fancy stuff for ages and only changed the cleansing ritual recently). SO yeah. COALTAR SOAP. once you've rinsed, give your face a bit of a buff dry with teh towel and that will deal with your exfoliating for the day too.
The shitness of my car finally made me snap this morning and I ended up punching the CD player several times and completely knackering it.
Now going to have to spend even more money to get a new one and fix / glue all the cracked plastic. Feel a bit of a twat. The thing has been a piece of crap since I've had it though. 2 hours since I did it, but still feeling like I'd rather take a bat to it than fix it.
Rocking the bleeding-knuckle look in the office today.
drink a full half pint out of milk straight out of the carton
feel sick now
living the dream
I quite fancy a holiday, I was kind of planning ATP Iceland but now I'm thinking I might go somewhere beforehand. Played a bit of The Last Of Us last night I'm pretty crap at firefights so far, it's good fun though.
Going to an exhibition with my housemates in the evening followed by drinks with the neighbors should be fun.
I went to see calvary last night, thought it was amazing.
actually I might go and post in that in the thread.
I did! been cycling in to work this week.
wakes you up in the morning, only drawback is I end up sweating like a paedo on a school bus.
a specialized mountain bike.
it's pretty good. not the lightest bike in the world, but then I'm not going to be setting any speed records anyways. got it from Dale's, nice shop.
i'm toying with the idea of getting a bike, thought i may as well take advantage of this perpetual sunshine
who has a very high stress, high responsibility, massive workload job as the director of a company that has been nominated and won international awards, earns about 3 grand more me.
And i just piss about on DIS all day, take extended lunch breaks, and then usually leave a bit early.
presumably have a sense of greta personal and profesional achievement and rocketting self esteem.
(nah, you win this one actually.)
I made an open tart.
NOT WEDNESDAY OR SOME OTHER DAY OF THE MID-WEEK
sorting my stupid head out after the friend-death based wobble i had yesterday. my jake the dog iphone cover arrived so i'm actually really pleased about that in a juvenile way.
all will be well. life is awesome. i insist upon it.
AGAIN. So annoying as I'm really behind on my laundry.
I tried back-to-front hairwashing today (as championed by SHEMAIL in the daily mail). the jury is still very much out.
finally, I think my kneepits are getting sweaty and I can't find my desk fan. Oh Today :'(
