What do people think? The fact it's David Fincher makes me curious to see it.
would probably watch this but don't really have the appetite after knowing how it all goes down.
Is this still a thing?
I would be intrigued to see how he does it (haven't watched trailer)
Book itself is good, in it. I started it and was all 'this is sort of sexist garb....OH'.
not fine art but a cut above your Dan Browns and Lee Childs. The characters are really well drawn (though in quite horrible ways), and the way it unfolds is really satisfying and twisty.
Not sure that I can be bothered to read it though, as I know the twist, and my girlfriend, who has read it, said that it was all about the set-up and reveal.
One of those books that you can read in a day without really meaning to, then immediately forget. But it's well written, as preposterous, million-selling thrillers go.
Minor drag in the middle but I find that with many books. She paints a very dark picture of people and does it very well.
(which obviously a lot of people have). I think they'd have been better to use some more tense/thrillery music for the trailer to entice people in...
What a terrible cover of She, though. Apparently it's the lead singer of the Psychedelic Furs. Nasty.
Can't take the trailer seriously.
When Elvis Total Shitface Costello covered it, I wanted to put my boot through my TV and send EMI the bill.
I really enjoyed the book; well paced, nice reveals, etc. but the ending was utter dog shit.
