We should have our own 5pm-6pm thread.
with a mandatory 1hr lunch. One of the few annoying things in this job...
I start at 9.15 though
we should have done between 8 - 5
Not me, I'm working out my notice so have northing to do.
i'm so honoured to be posting in this thread guys
Kill me now
It's why the economy is stronger here than anywhere else in the UK.
heard the other day that apparently london workers are about 30% more productive than in the rest of the country. Obvs total anecdata but having recently ish started at a company that's been moved here from oxford, if anything I think that's an underestimation.
OH YEAH BRING IT
I think one thing we have in our favour is that we don’t spend loads of time travelling to meetings that are held in London.
Oxford is always going to bad, everyone compares their working day to that of an academic. Which is obviously LOL.
spent the first couple months just thinking "how... did you possibly... fill your day?"
is impressive. It is after 5 and still, here you are.
I salute you.
Where the early morning twats go home and the cool, get up laters get to hang out and talk about what they want.
so when I stroll in at 9, I feel so late.
Mainly cause its usually 9:30.
everyone on my table works til 5 so i sit here alone until 6
get SO MUCH DONE
depends...sorry I mean GET HYPE
dis gets boring at 5 so that's when I start all the work I should have done earlier
stupid time to start imo. either 9 or half 8, ffs.
they saw you coming huh
think I might go now
More like 10-5 :'(
Can people please play DaisyFlowers and beat her!
why is this?
Everyone's favourite ray of sunshine is back!
Anyway it's ok we all just start late too.
Thats all that matters
about to have some fish fingers.
things are looking up.
I've imposing a out the office before 11am. The election is in 40 days or so. Soon i'll be normal again.
usually more like half 6 in practice. Could be worse really, and no weekends at the moment which is brilliant.
Not joining your club though, too busy saving lives / doing low level doctor admin between 5 and 6
9-5.30 this week
i can't really go on the internet at work unfortunately
I try and get in as early as possible. Was irritated today because I missed a train by 30 seconds so ended up getting in at 8.15 instead of 8.
My brain works better in the morning; hate doing important stuff last thing.
Used to work 7am-3pm every day and that was the BEST THING EVER.
Work these shifts to tackle the heavy workload that needs to be assessed
But do nothing after 5 due to weird unwork instincts.
I'll just take forever washing my mug and staring into space or something then flee a bit early to get the train, which is the whole reason I get to leave before half 5 anyway. I'm never late for the train though.
