Back is killing me.
How are YOU in pain, DiS?
Foot buggered. Knee buggered. Hands always on verge of hurting, especially if I play finger picking guitar too much.
Everytime I go to the gym I have to concede that as well as working out, I'm gonna be slightly aggravating an injury.
Think I'm doing it wrong.
Have you taken advice from a pro bro?
due to cash and now I'm leaving my job (did I mention?) so cash is even more of an issue.
Seriously though, youtube is good. I solved a back problem I have had for a good 7 years from learning how to stretch / rub it.
like inner-ear weirdness. probably coz the drummer is to my right at practice, need to buy proper earplugs.
You'll get tinnitus and shit like that if you're not careful
but aye, i should
Amazing. But I lost them. Less amazing.
39.1c. Awful day. Had a sleep in my car when I got home because I couldn't face walking into the house.
Feel substantially better today.
without waking. Just reclined the seat and got an hour's sleep.
that makes me realise how much you completely reassess everything when you have kids.
overslept this morning so no shower so my hair feels weird, ailing me
i've got some hard boogers in my nose
beard's a little itchy too
got lots of small bed bug bites on "torso"
bum's probably not bleeding anymore
due to two days of football
going for a swim soon, should sort me out. More running needed to in order to strengthen my back.
I'll leave it
very dry skin on knuckles
I somehow cut myself underneath a nail with some onion skin yesterday and it hurts
It's basically a papercut, but the skin kind of went up my nail. Urgh.
still restricting my movement, nagdammit
kind of at the base of my toe. stupid shoes, I am guessing.
Sore boobs, probable PMT.
Really annoying cut on my neck. no idea.
I also have chaffing round my neck from wearing a halterneck top at the weekend that was a bit tight round my neck. it's all pink and sore looking. I look like I've been throttled.
In quite a bit of pain with knee.
Elevation, ice & physio all helping nicely though.
Can waddle short distances without crutches now :)
not my ailment, but I was training and I saw a guy break his arm and it got all bendy, and because he's hard as nails, he kept wiggling it about like a hench pepparami.
Truly the stuff of nightmares.
back pain which I'm started to worry is actually kidney failure
- had a half marathon yesterday which I DNF due to a recurring knee ailment. Well gutted mate
- sleepy (does that count?)
How far along did you get?
You're better off NFing rather than wrecking your knees forever, but I know how hard it is having been in the same boat.
But I knew from about the 2 mile point that there was no chance. Should have just stopped then. Cycling and things is fine so it seems like an impact thing. Not really sure where to go from here?!
It might not just be impact- cycling used a very different form of motion so it might be the motion of running as much as the impact. Seriously, you need to get this checked out to work out if it's the knee joint itself, or a ligament, or possibly even the illiotibial band. Treatment varies depending on what's wrong, but you can get help in many cases. My ITB got fixed by a combiniatoin of physiotherapy, massage, foam rollering, icing, ultrasound, infrared and rest- so it's hard to say exactly what was responsible for fixing it, but i literally threw everything I had into getting it better. I even got exorbitant custom made orthotics (which I now believe make it worse, yaaaay.) If you really enjoy running then i think it's definitely worth trying to get a diagnosis and treatment plan together.
Want to come visit Glasgow collective again SOON
K started her super-amazing new job today! everyone is well. But we do need another big party soon!
1:50 - her first one! She's never run further than 9 miles before. Fit bastard.
Give her a massively full-on grope from me please :D
so any hot food or drink stings.
I was biting my nail on Friday and I accidentally ripped off part of the cuticle and some of the skin underneath on my index finger. It doesn't hurt any more today but I did accidentally knock it this morning and it bled.
I should really stop biting my nails :(
