Question of Sport
I don't watch TV
so i was unaware of that website and its content and actually bothered to copy and paste that URL to read the page.
My advice to everyone else: don't. Pointlessly offensive, apparently for the sake of it.
Shit telly for wankers.
kill for you
Though it was always a bit shit
I don't even think "well this is kiddie" it's just boring as sin. Utterly utterly dull.
I've gone for the more recent stuff to jazz things up
FOR FUCK FUCKING SAKE
Also: Family Guy
Midnight Caller. Thought that was the coolest late night detective show ever. Probably shite If I watched it now..
I ignored part of your stupidly long opening sentence.
Oh what...? They've gone to another tropical country and one's driving a gas guzzling Torymobile, one an 80s sports car and one a hilarious classic car with bits missing. I wonder who'll win? I wonder who cares?
(Given the sales it does overseas, probably people in the Far East, but hey...)
Every time I turn the telly on it seems to be on. Either that or another fucking trailer for it.
The ordinary one's been running on fumes for a couple of years ever since they tried to steal some of the Oz Masterchef magic, the celebrity one has always been shit and the Professionals won't survive the loss of Roux.
I've been hoping for a Michel Roux Jr - Marcus Wareing lineup for ages just to shake it up a bit, but it won't happen now. Plus none of the winners have actually gone on to do much apart from Thomasina Miers.
it used to be a good sunday night 'turn off my brain' kind of show, then it became formulaic as shit and hasn't been good for the best part of 4 years.
Used to really enjoy it, now deems fairly unwatchable, not quite sure when this transition occurred.
I watched the first few seasons religuously. Now I don't even know if Alan Sugar's still alive.
Does that count?
I thought that it was a decent drama maybe ten years ago but I caught some the other day and it's woeful. And is Ian Beale now into double figures for marriages??
8 Out Of 10 Cats
Used to hate it because it was shite but it's really good now. The best panel show (yes, yes) on telly by a country mile.
i don't hate jimmy carr anymore, think it's cos i'm more accepting of him as a panel show host than a comedian and i like it when he laughs at sean lock's jokes
just thought about it a bit more and it's still shit
I don't believe you
Works because Riley & Dent have godo senses of humour, Lock is always good for a gag, Richardson is a bit of an oddball and the guests are usually really well selected and odd, like Joe Wilkinson, Paul Foot, Peter Seranofiwiscwczxksc etc
the countdown ones are annoying though
Always used to enjoy the bants, despite having both Gower and Lineker on it (anti-bants).
Always sad that QoS hung around and it went. Bet if I watched it now I'd hate it.
Always got irked that Jonathan Ross was on it 'to be funny' with no sports knowledge as well.
My favourite bit was when Chris Eubank made fun of Jonah Lomu and basically said that he could have him in a fight, and then he walked out for feel the sportsman.
and there's enough charisma in sport to make the crossover for me.
Used to like the 'what happened next' bit of QoS though
Used to think it was dumb fun but then most of the police on it started being massive bellends to immigrants and I stopped watching.
"How I Met Your Mother should be renamed...." and then end it with "Shit Sandwich" or other such hilarious one liners.
You should follow me. I notice a handful of Dissers did but don't anymore. Can't help but take THAT personally.
Thanks guys. Felt weird writing this post but you've made me feel better .
used to rate himym quite highly, over the years all the character have become so unlikable, and alot of the humour is quite questionable.
kind of hope it ends bleakly, ted's been talking to imaginary children all these years
It's not on anymore. But I was watching it all via various streaming options and it turns TERRIBLE around S6 or 7 so I stopped.
And what does "ON" mean in an on-demand world?
Had a real dip in quality.
Used to be pretty fun. Now it's both weird and boring, stuck up its metarse. Also Alan Davies turned out to be a bit of a nobhead.
