any point in doing this really? takes a long time to apply for a job.
depends on what it is I guess, if you think they might suggest you for another more suitable role that come up or not.
I hate job apps so prob wouldn't bother.
i do a cv for each job type i am likely to want to apply for, and a covering letter too. That way, with a very small amount of amends i can batch send applications super fast, always with a cv rejigged to the right experience.
will it give you a chnce to learn more about the job/industry in question?
in summary: DO IT
makes a) more enjoyable and b) easier to blag a bit
Makes it easier to talk them round if they pull you up on any blagging.
And so on until alcoholism.
Got an interview for it next week. £7k pay rise. YES PLEASE.
