and then just spend pots of money poaching presenters or copying concepts as if they want everyone to see how creatively bankrupt they are.
Is that despite being the same person and fronting the same programme, we all stop watching it or caring.
REMEMBER WHEN WE ALL TOLERATED JONATHON ROSS?
even if you say the likes of Des Lynam disappear into a void of nothing? I wouldn't.
Saying that, if I was Susanna Reid, I wouldn't leave the house.
THIS IS A SEXUAL COMMENT.
so they can launch a new breakfast show which will be exactly the same (i.e. equally terrible) anyway. And it's not like they'll ever beat BBC in the breakfast ratings either.
On a related subject, it always feels ridiculously stuffy to have the male presenters on BBC Breakfast in suits and ties when the women get to wear a range of nice clothes...
only to see Bill Turnbull in a pair of shorts, showing brain.
You might, but I don't.
And as far as I know that has never happened, and I look reaaaally closely...
to the scrotum of an old man?
Rumour that Rachel Riley is being courted by the Beeb though.
I only watch it when Everybody Loves Raymond isn't on really though
when you turn on channel 5
and rachel riley is doing the gadget show
says Reid is `difficult` behind the scenes. Demanding and that.
Turnbull on the other hand is elegance personified, apparently.
says Reid is `difficult` from behind. Demanding and that.
Kirkwood is all warm front and damp mornings.
ITV's based in London, right? Seems a fair enough reason to move jobs, coupled with a big paycheck no doubt.
Shame though, as I like Susanna Reid, but there's not a chance in hell I'd choose to watch ITV over BBC Breakfast.
just for people who have time to watch tv in the morning.
All channels should scrap their shitty promo-led puff piece breakfast show crap and just show stuff for kids or repeats of something else. That will save the Beeb some dollar. Cull the One Show too.
the 2005 and 2010 elections and... that's about it in the last decade. I only know who all of these people are because they all end up on Strictly Come Dancing or something.
No idea how anyone has time to watch TV in the morning.
usually about 20 mins top, not like I'm cracking open the Godfather box set or something
Or Rise (Iain Lee, Kate Lawler, Mel & Sue era, not the shitty people behind a desk version).
But RI:SE (love the superfluous colon) was great. Remember Zora Suleyman?
i'll pop it on whilst making a coffee
having the time in the corner and announced a lot is reet useful for keeping track of when you need to leave the house
i dont need to leave until 8.40 so this is maybe why i have time to watch a bit of Reid once in a while when i'm lonely and need some comfort
complaining that the clock is slow (when they're watching on ITV+1)
BBC will just find someone who looks similar. Like that woman on the One Show who is basically Christine Bleakely.
employ attractive attractive female presenters , the men not so much.
And there's the SCHAFERNAKER of course (OK that's weather)
I'm afraid it's a no from me.
ITV still have Alex Beresford, who is lovely to look at even if his Instagram account suggests he's a bit of a bell end.
So he wins
Don't get the hype.
Older gentleman to add gravitas/ignorance of the modern world and the younger totty next to him.
Bit depressing really.
I just can't get into the gaudy colours and camera angles on ITV, despite them having some absolutely lovely and very attractive presenters.
There's something high class about the Breakfast sofa that you just can't reproduce.
and he'd posted a picture of the news story about her moving from BBC to ITV and he'd crossed out BBC and wrote 'Salford' and crossed out ITV and wrote 'London'
article slagging off her (now former) partner
Sexist to say the least but really demeaning to both parties. Yuck.
How? It makes a lot of assumptions about a relationship that we don't know about - granted. It's based on speculation.
It is however, defending women with careers who want to work and how because the man was left with the kids it was suddenly a big problem is bullshit.
