No one really likes atheists though.
That's how we roll.
in two minutes
Don't believe in Theo. Poor fools.
so that no one is around to see this.
I can't speak for everyone, but I became atheist after thinking about and reading the bible along with several other religious doctrines and deciding that it was utter nonsense
oh the embarrassment
every time I look in the mirror.
He's the only one of that list that I like. I don't care if that makes people think I wear a fedora.
Well Corbett might be alright but I'm not sure he is an atheist.
not entirely safe for work
I find what Dawkins is doing admirable, big fan.
just isn't true
As an agnostic (the only sensible choice in my opinion), I lean towards the atheist side of thinking BUT most atheists I know can't resist but get into arguments with people about why they are wrong.
watch videos of Bill Donohue.
Learn to hate Bill Donohue
it's just smugness isn't very appealing, nor is someone going on and on about whatever it is they're into and they think distinguishes them from others. Look at me being all correct.
Not surprising though, I post on DiS and read The Guardian.
and know that you can expect the preaching, it's worse when it pops up on facebook in your feed etc and it's all "oh look at what I believe/don't believe in why can't everyone believe/not believe the same thing as me"
I know this sounds insulting, but as much as I try to be, I'm not reeeally. I still have this hope/thought lingering that there might be a higher power. Or something. Can't shake it.
Religion can FUCK OFF though.
Not a big deal tbh. Never believed in anything to being with.
I think a lot theory into sociology, politics, philosophy has long had strains of nominalism at its base and people still fussing over religion seems a bit out-dated.
Still, whatever helps people sleep at night is fine.
But I already know what you think anyway since you only exist in my mind
