for special occasions. Glad you noticed though. I used to enjoy pressing the air raid siren button quite a lot on VirtualDJ but that's pretty much the extent of my illustrious DJing career...
Then watching a film (probably Rush).
second best film involving fast cars I've seen this week
I can't think of a single better car-themed film than Rush.
runs out tomorrow so will probably watch two or maybe three films on there.
I did this last night as well. I watched Cars! Never seen it before. The bit where they go tractor tipping :'))))))) And also Horrible Bosses, which was not great.
Requiem for a Dream is on there and I want to watch that but also I'm not entirely sure I do...
although it has been ruined by the Clint Mansell piece being rinsed on every single big sporting event/dramatic tv contest for years
so i might watch that. also will sit and think dreamily about a beautiful girl, obvs
Playing GTA V 7-8
Going to the pub 8-11
Playing GTA V 11-3

is there any good films on iplayer? maybe watch the ian nairn docs on there atm (by myself)
i really liked barbara, if you want some very slow east german angst
barbara does sound good. i'm really into ostalgie at the moment. the grey skies, cans of peas for dinner, the lack of pressure to stand out, the stylish terrorist organisations.
you also might be interested in this, idk
Evan Davis explores the economic forces that are polarising Britain and asks what the rest of the country can learn from London's success.
don't reckon Qatar oil billionaires want to invest a shit load of money into e.g. Stockport, Evan. maybe i'll watch it at some point anyway
apparently it talks about the economic theory rather than just investment £££ stuff.
oh, and if you want more stuff about architecture etc there's LOADS here: http://singleaspect.org.uk/?p=14417#more-14417
cool, i'll put a link on my desktop
novara compiled some films about social housing in the UK spanning the last 80 years on their weird radical politics / buzzfeed crossover site, maybe it's of interest to you
i recently spent £20 on what's basically a big fanzine about Robin Hood Gardens, published by the 20th Century Society...
Supposed to be really great.
same name as that dan hancox book about marinelada that also came out last year though. uncomfortable
I'm finishing my thesis on molecular physics, then heading the national ballet before a few cans at The Crow Bar and then an all night rave in Manor House.
you'll miss the football
Enjoyed it. Usually more drinking that literary insight at these things, luckily for me...
Never seen it on the big screen before, cannot wait!
and sort shit outside. Instead, gonna go and watch football and do pub quiz with dan_thw
no idea what happened there. Sort shit at the flat.
I don't live outside.
wanna get drunk
it will make the time go quicker.
maybe it's a new thing
instead of the go the gym
and then going to see Andrew O'Neill do some comedy. Should be good.
that i've caught the sun on my face this afternoon
I sat in an office. alone. there may have been crying involved.
and bottling plant last week. And the client gave me some of their whisky. I might drink some of that later because he's been asking me what I thought of the bottle he gave me and I';ve been dodging the Q because I don't want to say 'nice and peaty' if it's not bloody peaty. So yes, tonight's client research is going to be whisky dirnking :)
And maybe your job?
going to the pub with my sister and her partner
coming home early to write a presentation I'm giving tomorrow morning
after you guys mentioned it on here (I've had cravings for Vietnamese for months now)
I'll be meeting an orphan named George, who is at a facility to have his brain—along with the brains of several other orphans—surgically removed and shipped to the United States.
The facility plans to condition the children's brains to become killers through VR training and place them inside cybernetic bodies to create new soldiers
I plan on stopping this!
Although I don't really do it in winter as the weather is bad. In summer though it's a must.
at the Notting Hill Arts Club. Not sure I've ever been there before. Might pop to the Windsor Castle for a scotch egg beforehand.
Eatchling line if duty
Going to sleep
Wolf whistle at anyone that looks like Emmeline Pankhurst, apparently.
And then apparently getting some wedding decisions made already apparently

Hungover to hell.
Making a rousing playlist thats now 50% power metal 50% rap
just realised there's an england football match. hopefully that doesn't mean there won't be anyone there.
AS SHOULD YOU ALL
Then pretend to do some research while secretly playing hearthstone.
Spoke to an important person who is giving me the opportunity to do some work for them and it's all FINALLY starting to come together. Still like to be earning money though. YAYAYAY
Pretty happy with that.
to scratch my healing tattoo
with cheese and peppers and tomatoes and artichokes and onions and garlic. watching the truman show which i have never seen. was planning on drinking just the one can of cider that i found in the fridge, but just remembered there's still loads of gin in the flat. hmm.
