I don't like how the hollow bit of penne might not be coated in any of whatever I'm eating with the pasta.

they are used instead of a vegetable, like where a kid would have sweetcorn or peas or beans. But they are tinned pasta, it makes no sense.

associated with mac and cheese too much, but they have a lovely squidgey texture. They go with everything, better than their bigger brother penne by miles.

the worst are the bow ties (farfalle?) as the outside takes less time to cook than the middle bit.
