Get a foam roller and see a physio asap if you ever want to be able to run properly ever again.
the outside of my left knee was hurting when i walked and it was sore if i pressed it. thought that was weird and put it down to not warming up properly. this week i went for a run and had to stop halfway cos the same knee was killing. same pain on the outside of the knee afterwards.
it fucking sucks, and i've basically given up long distance running.
I have a long term knee problem and also (now, in the last year) foot problem. Same leg. It's pretty much gonna be related I'd have thought.

Down with knees. If I run and bike too much - I'm almost sure it's the biking now - I get totally nebulous, ever changing pains round both knees. No idea what it is, it's such an utter pain in the arse.
