try installing this http://www.safer-networking.org/mirrors16/
pretty baller move tbf
and we haven't edited any of the site's code for a few weeks, then if it has just started, it isn't as likely that it's a DiS problem. Obviously if LOADS of people are having this issue, it may be DiS and will be fully investigated to the best of my abilities.
You're on the list, you kissass teacher's pet Iagos.

"Should we report this to his manager?"
"No, redirect all traffic from that site to a discount spanish airline site for a bit."
"YES! GREAT IDEA! I WILL DO IT RIGHT AWAY!"

I sent a snapchat and everything, so I have no evidence, but it was.
"requested URL was not found on this server" now on mobile if I don't use www. I have a screenshot and everything.

and he was buying some flights with the money we sent him :O
great wifi on the french megabus.
kind of made me wanna book a flight tbh
We know roughly what the issue is. It's server/DNS related, which is why it isn't affecting everyone.
Not sure if there's a short-term solution for those affected - perhaps try a different browser as it's likely you have a cookie with old IP address or something complicated like that.
18.104.22.168 is listed on http://drownedinsound.com.ipaddress.com/ but that's hosting 12 different sites.
nslookup doesn't work on DiS
A new era
Could only reproduce it with Chrome and by clicking the first result from a search. It redirected to 22.214.171.124, which unfortunately is just a subnet so doesn't really reveal anything. It does look like it's DNS related though, and seems to be triggered by the rct=j search parameter being included in the Google tracking link (without it, it doesn't redirect to 126.96.36.199).
Anyway, at least those hours didn't go to waste if this helps anyone. I don't actually know what caused it, but I do know that it's not just DiS.
Windows 7, iOS, Android mobile, though didn't happen on a Chrome on iPhone, though this was all over the same short time period, so isn't necessarily pertinent
and for most of the time I thought it was adware so was running a series of checks and trying to get to the bottom of it and getting nowhere. Eventually realised the problem wasn't at my end and it was all a big waste of time. How we laughed.
On my Google nexus the DiS site goes to a Spanish airline site called Baratos whereas on my laptop the DiS site works (as I'm typing now). I don't understand neither the internet nor computers/tablets that well. Perhaps a tech person would make sense of this.
Switched to EE and it was ok. WIERD
No, i am not in Mexico. I am in England. i would like to visit the website Drowned In Sound, please.
The requested URL /community/boards/social was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at drownedinsound.com Port 80"
Apache on a CentOS server? Thanks for letting us know.
if I'm at http://drownedinsound.com and not http://www.drownedinsound.com
Eventually Googled drowned in sound and looked on news to see if The Quietus or someone was reporting on what was going on, and was able to sneak in via a review posted this morning.
It's royally fucked up, though. Impossible to know how many remain locked out. I'd guess millions.
It can be the only explanation.
instead of straight to the boards, THAT'S when I get the Spanish airline instead.
I can get on without problem in Safari though.
probably got Ask toolbars and all sorts in their browser and loads of spyware. Thick cunts.
I used the "people who don't put eggs in the fridge" audit filter to try to improve the quality of posts.
