What the fuck is wrong with you, England?
I got a pakora from this shop that was half mushroom and half vegetable, wasn't on the menu but I asked anyway. A mushroom pakora was £5, a vegetable pakora was £5, so how much did they charge me? £7! The price of a mixed pakora, which has chicken in it.
Because I'm not sure if you read the bit where I ordered chicken pakora and got chicken nuggets.
yeah that's a disaster
At least they charged me the amount on the menu, eh?
(At least, I think so. Not convinced I ordered nineteen quids worth of curry and chicken nuggets)
more expensive than mushroom or vegetable. It's basic "Asian" food math.
i.e. a fried chicken shop
he'll take up your takeaway related consumer issue on your behalf
I had some chicken pakora the other day from an unnamed takeaway in Manchester. I wanted samosas (sold out?) so the guy asked me if pakora was OK. Yeah, of course, and as he asked this he bent down to a bit to the side underneath the till, undid the loosely tied handles of a Sainsburys carrier bag, stuck his hand in, pulled a few pakora out and whacked them in a polystyrene tray which swiftly made its way into the microwave.
How should I feel about this? I still ate them, and it was fine (rubbery and microwaved, nonetheless). Wonderful bit of 'takeaway heartburn' too. If I wasn't a bit drunk I would've probably questioned why someone would keep a load of pakora in a carrier bag underneath the till, but thought better of it.
what? are you sure this was a takeaway and not some guy's house?
Apparently I was so drunk I legged it to a supermarket car park and puked up on a duck.. :-/
for being in a supermarket car park.
