because it makes flowers
Proper clears the sinuses.
I'm specifying English mustard.
it's a mix between mustard and horseradish. it's awesome but you totally can't use much.
It has caused serious damage to my sinuses - thanks
I like a mustardy/ horesradishy heat, but I would always take the roundness of a chilli pepper heat over it.
hmm, I see them the opposite way.
mustardy heat = rounded, balanced
chilli heat = sharp
I'm trying to work out how to prove I'm right.
you'll just have to take my word for it.
A chilli on its own is sharp. As is horseradish/ mustard. I guess it's what tends to get lended with chillies which gives it a rounder mnore lingering depth of hit. Whereas wasabi tends to be on its own as opposed to blended to lots of other flavours, it blows your nose off and then it's gone leaving a bit of a flat taste. In my mouth anyway.
chilli heat = mostly consigned to the tongue/mouth
It's probably actually when your mum's in heat.
I like the burn just before it rushes up your nose, but after that it just hurts a bit without the lingering pain that chilli has and creates all those endorphins. Although I suspect I have never tried real wasabi, just green coloured mustard.
but I have to see I kind of like the nose thing
when you massively over do it and there's a split second where you're not sure if you can breathe
then wasabi is the one for you. I like it deep in my throat, around my lips and tongue so I go chilli.
Gonna have me something spicy for dinner I think.
But any excuse for a bit of wasabi.
Wasabi, as in the root that you grate? Most of the 'Wasabi' we get in the west is a horseradish paste which is coloured with green dye. There's even a name for it that I can't remember right now.
Yup. Cool. See you guys in a year when I get unbanned.
shame you fessed up, you massive racist
and Iwanted him to be in no doubt. Spelling things out has always been my downfall :')
is far more racist
I don't have any godparents. (apart from the italians).
but my dad does think he is god. Lives in the jungle in columbia and all
this has done me
I always knew this, but didn't know quite *how* ridiculous it was til I checked a bottle I had - 1% actual wasabi. whadda RIP
horseradish is still p tasty though
that's what it's called. All of japan is having a laugh at us with our pretend mustard paste and lurid green dye.
Taken too soon
and stays with you for hours afterwards
