my definition, whichever is earlier: 6am or 1 hour before sunrise
but then I'm a scientician so would say that
it was shit though. loads of people at work now know why I have been shit recently too, so that'll make today interesting :/
dunno if i should get up
FRIDAY: takeaway (curry, dead good), Silver Linings Playbook, Before Midnight, fell asleep on sofa.
SATURDAY: lie-in, didn't bother with street art tour in the end because of shite weather, went to Brixton to see my sister instead but she had a hangover and so my boyfriend and I did a mini pub crawl instead. Ended up in Crystal Palace.
SUNDAY: Lego movie, pottered around Peckham and Dulwich afterwards.
THIS WEEK: going to see 1984 at the Almeida tonight; some kind of short film thing going on tomorrow in Brixton. There's a new sourdough pizza place opened near me so going to try that out too.
except the cinema was full of kids (fine, to an extent) and also adults who thought they could act like kids (wouldn't stop talking / eating really noisy food and screwing up crisp wrappers and stuff) -- as such I found it really hard to concentrate :( but yeah definitely go and see it, there were some proper laugh-out-loud bits.
is that I got to high-five Tommy Wiseau.
The essay I was griping about last week (due Wednesday) is FINISHED except it isn't because it's still too long, so today's task is to trim it down so I can submit it and move on with my life and onto the next two submissions I have before I go to Barcelona at the start of next month.
I wanted to go and see Her this week but the local Picturehouse isn't showing it yet. Boo.
weekend was nice and relaxing for the most part, especially saturday during the day and yesterday.
this week; tonight on the radio, wednesday have a gig. later in the week i'll be in Aberdeen on business.
Graham Norton well worth a catch up if you missed it on Friday - Bill Murray!
Chips and watched the Lion, witch and the wardrobe on Saturday
Sunday went to Lacock, national trust place, where they had a load of people from the local sci-fi club dressed as daleks and Darth Vader/maul. Plus lots of crocuses and snowdrops - SPRING
Had maybe an hours sleep last night, feel like utter shite. Almost got knocked off my bike by an arsehole in a Land Rover who then had the audacity to get angry with me because he didn't check his mirrors before pulling out.
Weekend was pretty crap too. Literally the only thing I did was end things with the girl I'd been seeing. Didn't think she'd really be that bothered but she was and I feel pretty bad about it.
But it love silly courses so actually that's great except I've missed breakfast ;(
still. Is actually a Monday and feels like it. :(
And I totally agree.
made a chicken, bacon and mushroom pie last night and a veggie for mates who came around. was mint, and to top it all off, there's some pie left for later!
seemed to have traded my cold for the inability to walk though, which is a bit of a shitter.
I did some nice things, like I saw The Princess Bride (funniest film) and Big Trouble In Little China (I reckon they might have come up with the name before writing the film) for the first time, and had an interview which went well so yeah. Going to see Mowbird at Fuel tonight, who's coming? Probably no one.
Btw do you look more like old lo pan or laser eyes lo pan?
Fri night though, fucking lazer eye Lo-Pan! :)
I'm gonna go see Dallas buyers Club this afternoon
I'm going to book Friday off.
there's one which I think might be a bit awkward lying UNREAD and i want to read it but not have them know i have
stay strong hun
i'm going to have a cup of tea
and the whole thing appears on your phone's homescreen so you can read it there and THEY'LL NEVER KNOW
the panic has started
lots of good food, caught up on sleep, watched some films, it's been great.
First-classing it back to London today because it's cheaper than standard. Also seeing Chvrches tonight, with my kind-of-ex who I've not seen since November, don't think it'll be awkward though.
only had 20p and a dead battery in my pocket. fuck today.
but I don't have any change. There's a really old envelope with some 'collection' money for a gift left over in my locker...hmmm
Where I was just very tired and hungover all day, so did absolutely nothing. Monday always seems a lot shitter when you've basically sacked off one of your days off.
this is the first time I've been rained on this year.
welcome back to scotland.
I've left my phone at home today.
Celebrating with an all-day commute'n'tutor. Half term pays them bills!!
my back aches from being asleep too long....but hey at least i'm not at work. hahahahhahahhah
and a usual 50 minute bus ride took 15. How many cars clog up the road purely for driving kids to school is INSANITY.
that explains why my train was so much quieter today
people have booked the week off work to watch the kids at home..
