got too excited by Zlatan, No other business:
(Has he come out yet?)
I thought it would all be in one image
Are they not both sponsored by Nike? I smell a PR stunt. STill, quality BANTS.
Not sure how Ian Holloway would know, but there you go...
“He’s six foot something, fit as a flea, good looking – he’s got to have something wrong with him. Hopefully he’s hung like a hamster – That would make us all feel better. Having said that, me missus has got a pet hamster at home, and his cock’s massive.”
I like them
contrived overfondness for Zlatan and Mata threads.
From now on it's just countless statements of love for Jay Spearing and David N'gog.
He's the man
Joe Kinnear for Man Utd managers job? Experienced hand, has good contacts apparently. Might be able to give them a hand in the transfer market.
I'd rank this one in the lower middle.
a New high for me! I feel honoured.
It wasn't so much scraping the barrel, more like all of the awful shite that was deemed too rubbish to make it into the barrel in the first place. This is much more preferable to that.
Though zahidf has always reminded me of Normal Tweet Guy
that have become standard every time zahidf (and average_aguero before him) posts a comment in these threads
Just a platform for him to call everyone who's ever wronged him a bastard. Great stuff.
Premier League next week, and then the CL returns the week after that
only just heard
Had a proper little strop on twitter over the FA's failure to rescind Carrol's red card, then had to sit through that
Forest > West Ham = Chelsea > Man City hierarchy.
It's all there, fully formed from the beginning like a John Lennon or a Rimbaud. Hoofs a long ball in, smashes a bullet header in from the resulting corner and, above all, aggressively chomping gum as he makes his way back to the halfway line.
Also, the moment where the commentator deploys the first ever recorded use of "an Allardyce special" to describe a monsterously ugly header - impossibly poignant
Proof that some truly are born great.
now he's no longer linked with the England job.
Now they can fuck off. Unforgivable stuff from their fans.
have some fans who chant horrible stuff. Rather harsh to damn the entire club for something a few hundred idiot fans do.
tbf, it does seem that you could stick Gandhi or Mandela in the crowd for a Madrid derby and they'd soon be rending the flesh from a crying child's face. One of those fixtures that just sends even thoroughly decent people fucking gaga.
That's really unpleasant
Always felt sympathy/empathy for them at how awfully their club was run and being overshadowed by their neighbours but racially abusing someone in front of their kid is a shit hawk move.
like I agree in principal it would be nice if they could challenge Real more (who are pretty hateful as well but to be fair their worst crimes are only being dull royalists) but then they do stuff like this alot
Seriously though, back to Man yoo, here are the remainign 14 games
Fulham (H), Palace (A), Villa (H), Hull (H), Norwich (H), Sunderland (H), West Brom (A), Newcastle (A) Southampton (A) and Arsenal (A), Liverpool (H), West Ham (A), Man City (H), Everton (A)
And here is how i think it will go.
Win: Fulham (H), Palace (A), Villa (H), Hull (H), Norwich (H), Sunderland (H)
Draw: West Brom (A), Newcastle (A) Southampton (A), West Ham (A),
Lose: Arsenal (A), Liverpool (H), Man City (H), Everton (A)
So that's 62 points at the end of the season. I don't think that will be enough for Top 4.
We'd need to shake off our inferiority complex over playing Man Utd first.
assume you've worked out how to beat them at home by now. No more fear factor surely?
Provided there's bugger all at stake (like when we won 1-0 a few years ago in late April).
This is an altogether less threatening direction to channel your tenacity.
Also, United will OBVIOUSLY get points from the big games but somehow lose to an Under 14 Girls Team at Old Trafford a few more times this season.
I assume they'll do something like beat Man City but lose to Norwich.
Not a chance.
RVP goal, penalty denied and probably an Arsenal injury. Just one of those things wherein the script is already written.
Liverpools remainign fixtures
Should be able to get 27 points from that. Getting it up to 74 points for them, which is easily enough for fourth. Even if Man Utd beat Liverpool and Arsenal, They would be on 68 points against Liverpool's 71
Is the 'free assistant' essentially a second ticket, i.e. you take in your own 'assistant'? That's how it works at most PL clubs. I need to know before I get really righteous and indignant (yes, there's a level up from here).
that's exactly the sort of thing an evil club like Barcelona would do
no idea why we shipped him there
Cos Phillips was our one fast outlet. Without him it's Hoilett, who is very inconsistent with a hamstring made of chewing gum, and SWP who is now so shit he's become an Eboue style cult hero
We played a lot of the season with a front 3 of austin, kranjcar and Gazza O'Neill
We've got no wingers now.
will be the first truly competitively important Utd Liverpool league game since this one http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/01/15/article-1243179-03E91D9E000005DC-184_468x386.jpg
Hope it goes similarly but with an overall happier ending of course
meant to be below zackdif.
Our next game is Arsenal of course. Back them, neutrals. Back them to the hilt. #alycissokhovsoxladechamberlain
defensively we looked a bit shaky the last couple of games. You wouldnt have realised it against palace cos... y'know, but there were a number of mistakes made that werent being made a few games ago. Against suarez and sturridge instead of chamakh and puncheon we'd have struggled.
I dunno, i reckon if we start with cazorla ozil and rosicky as a supremely fluid attacking 3 with oxlade chamberlain providing the 'verticality' as jonathan wilson might not say then we've got a decent chance, but it'll be close either way.
i think because arsenal was so shit there in the 90s. always expect a miserable defeat or a draw after dominating them totally.
you've never lost to a goal from Neil Mellor.
Did well going forward, but fairly obviously has no idea where to line up when we lose possession. Only to be expected since he's played about 5 hours there in his whole career, but would expect us to be a lot more solid with Wilshere and Arteta back in the middle.
Would quite like to see Rosicky start at least one of the next two games too, him and Santi are brilliant at pressing and winning the ball high up the pitch.
Should Liverpool get anything, the walk to our ground will be properly giddy. And then Pards will West Ham the fuck out of us.
Can't find it.
People can't even pick 5 correct results on a weekend bet. How the hell can anyone get even a vague idea whatsoever by gaming out 3 months of matches for every team in the league?
The Mail picks out the weakest player from every PL team
West Ham liabilities is a competitive list, he wouldn't even be top 10
Demiwhatshisface is indeed lacking, but I'm not sure a 3rd choice CB looking poor when played in midfield really constitutes a 'weak link'
All day long.
Thought they might at least roll out some Opta stats or something to make their case, but nope, just some staff writer reading through squad lists, going "he's a bit shit, he hasn't scored for a while, don't rate him"
have to assume he's got a lot of pictures of Greeny from his Malaga years
Boy looked a solid 7.5/10 every game last year which is astonishing for a 19 year old.
players what have done a howler in the last few months
No way Kolo's our weak link. He's been absolutely fine for the most part - an experienced and composed squad defender.
Not sure what he was doing against West Brom mind. But, y'know.
Has been faultless for us this season, no doubt he will be dropped from Scott Dann, but that would be harsh.
Our weak spot is left back, I'm not totally comfortable with either Moxey or Parr. Moxey is often caught terribly out of position. He was shocking at times in the Championship and I thought he would be hopeless at this level. He started off really well but as started making sloppy mistakes again.
Weird pick. Still, hard to pick a weakest member from the PROVEN BEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE AS OF RIGHT NOW.
Weirdly, probably think Arteta is currently the weakest of the first team, at least in terms of form and usefulness.
Maybe they think him and Aly Cissokho are the same person.
apart from his brain fart on sunday, toure has been alright, and he was cheap.
*Yeah he's being played out of position, what a barrel of shite*
Most of their backline and El Ahmadi could go here
Turner's a fair shout
Whichever chump they're playing up front
Anyone in their first 11
One of the chumps they're playing in the middle
Chambers/Hooiveld/Boruc all about equal in the calamity stakes
Toss-up between Soldado, their fullbacks and Dawson
Haven't watched them enough
Probably highlight Diame as being particularly pish this season
It's Nolan when Carroll isn't playing though. When Carroll is playing he shoots up about 20 places
You've done Chelsea twice, champ
Having looked like a better alternative to Gibbs only a few games before. LAZY JOURNALISM FROM PARSEFONE
Just remember him getting absolutely eaten alive by Navas in December, and the fact Gibbs usually starts ahead of him tells its own story. In all honesty it was the obvious choice until I thought that was a bit too easy.
the guys so bad
there's too many to choose from, but it's not Pilkington, he's barely even played this year to be a weak link (which suggests a fair amount of playing time)
Would explain a lot.
