Yeah, i'm there Saturday afternoon. Is there a 50's style diner place knocking about?
All meat buffet, Nuff said
reds bbq is good
theres also a place behind the corn exchange that's like a meat joint too - pulled pork from there is sweet as
Red hot buffet shack in the evening has prawns and duck pancakes and other nice stuff, loads of ice cream too
Trinity Kitchens are ace - there's loads of street food style places and the vendors change all the time so there's usually something new
There's also loads of other places around greek street and the corn exchange,
Although it'd be quite an expensive lunch I think.
plus they only do the best cuts in the evening
swear by Palace Chine in Cardigan Field Leisure Complex, next door to the Virgin Active.
Best food in Leeds, they say!
I thought Red Hot Buffet was great for sheer choice, but wouldn't say any of their food was particularly stand-out.
Café Guru in Brewery Wharf is a good Indian joint (not Leeds' forte) and Azucar, a tapas bar, is just across the road from that as well, which has always intrigued me (owned by Howard Marks). Viva Cuba does good tapas but it's not central.
Tong Palace seemed good for a Chinese when I went there for a work do, but I was pretty smashed.
Hear good things about Spice Quarter in Millennium Square.
"lovin'" that "cuban shit" they "were"
Nation of Shopkeepers do some alright grub as well. It's mid-level hipster territory though
dogs been on heat for the ham
Craft beers, microbrewery on site and a wood fired pizza oven
