I really like the bit in Truman Show at the end when Truman bows to Ed Harris's character.
The 'Oh Happy Day' bit
It's difficult for me to look past the ending of Synecdoche New York
When Margot arrives off the bus
starts with a typically wonderfully designed Anderson set, and then she arrives.
to Mysteries of Love. Ruins me every single time.
but I thought the freeze frame kiss in source code was pretty special. Granted this might be because the rest of the film was rather average.

The last scene of The Graduate, on the bus... the way their expressions change. Such a great film.

What - better than the nightclub scene in Cemetery Junction?

run through the museum in beverley hills chihuahua 1.
with the house and contents blowing up in super slo-mo, with a Pink Floyd soundtrack:
Omar Sharif and the Daffodils after the thawing on the window pane (yes its corny)
Or maybe the trolley? (dolly?) zoom shot in Mishima 'the golden temple section' when the protagonist has the golden temple swell up large behind him as the music wells up to fill all of his life.
Or maybe again in Mishima, the soliloque towards the end when Mishima is (for real) in the silver jet fighter in the stratosphere and clouds.
Or maybe again right at the end the theatrical/filmic seppuku in Mishima (the ideal version of his own) with the rising sun.
Actually Mishima is a seriously beautiful film (Its also ugly)
like in the library listening to everyones thoughts, or sitting on the high up statues and dropping......basically its lovely because of the sound WITH the vision
but this is really a knockout
in Days of Heaven
Slo mo sunrise in Silent Light
Opening tracking shot in I Am Cuba
Pagan scene in Andrei Rublev
Lone penguin in Encounters at the end of the world
Denis Lavant dancing at the end of Beau Travail
Tiger sex/motorcycle scene in If...
Firework scene in Lovers on the bridge
slo-mo if they move kill em scene
It's so pretty some toerag put it on YouTube cut to Sigur Ros like some sort of nature documentary promo (it's the first shot in this video, it's usually longer and has less oppressively 'uplifting' music):
