Do people who don't work in offices even know they exist?
They're in schools too, aren't they? People used to hide shoes in them back in my day.

You missed the joy of repeatedly throwing a pen at the ceiling while the teacher was writing on the blackboard, hoping to get one to stick in to it.

we had a hanging fire exit sign we used to punch and it swung upwards and kept breaking bits of the roof
And collectively thought it a great idea to start smashing them over each other's heads and all sorts.
Must've wiped out a couple of dozen, they just got replaced without a word said :D
had a mate once whose flat had them in every room, complete with office style lighting. The bathroom ones were slathered in mould. Grim. No air conditioning tiles either.

then throw things into the ceiling space which would crash down through the tiles in the neighbouring classroom. Saw someone do it with a chair once.
The tiles in suspended office ceilings what are being talked about in this thread surely aren't polystyrene.
Then wait for next year to wonder what the smell is.
